Bad move Nintendo.
Legit, the only reason I like Nintendo is because of Zelda. If Zelda got signed to Sony or Microsoft, I would ditch Nintendo.
This is kind of old, the picture in the article has been around for a long time and people were complaining about it then.
Really, it's optional, so who cares?
But I like the point someone makes in the comments on that article, which goes a bit like this: doesn't anyone remember asking their older brother or friend to beat a part in a game for them? I remember this, I still do it sometimes if a friend can help me. If it means games will go back to their old difficulty levels, I'm all for this mode. If not, I won't use it. Problem solved!
Anyways, if you can't control yourself enough to avoid activating this option when it becomes available, I think you have more important things to worry about!
Yeah, it's not like it really affects us negatively or anything. It could actually be a godsend...
I would actually use it for some things... I am not smart and always do things the hard way (I didn't realise you could kill dodongos with bombs until after I fought King Dodongo, for example) so this might help me out a bit. But that also spoils the fun...
meh, it doesn't seem that big an issue to me as long as it's just an option you can turn on and off. Now if it's the sort of thing where it keeps asking you if you'd like to turn it on everytime you die frequently... Games that ask you "Are you SURE you don't want to play on easy?" every time you die a couple of times really irritate me... that would be frustrating. But otherwise I don't really see what the big deal is.
Well, I would accept the idea of choose the difficulty, then change it later in the options menu whenever you feel fit.
REPHRASED: If they showed the buttons that are being used while the demo play is on, just so you could get a feel and an idea as to what to do, I might be even more interested.
That article looked like a spoof to me, just sayin...
