I'm not sure if I'll ever work on them (though for two of them, I hope I do), or if someone else already did, but I'd like to share a few of my fanfic ideas with you and see what you guys think of them.
Idea 1.) The first one is an Alternate Universe idea. Instead of Hylians ruling Hyrule and Sheikah serving the Royal Family, Sheikahs would rule Hyrule and Hylians would serve the Royal Family. I don't have much more to this idea than this.
Idea 2.) A novelization of the Oracle games with the story starting with Din and Nayru instead of Link (this is more important with Nayru, as it'll consist of Nayru leading Ralph around Labrynna teaching him what seems like trivial things at the time, but will play a large role later on in the story). It's a tad bit AU as the girl in Din's troupe will travel with Link, and Ralph is humble enough to accept Link's help and travels with him as well. I'll start in Holodrum and then move on to Labrynna (I don't know why, but it just seems right that I write it in that order).
Idea 3.) Another AU fanfic, this one will also be based around the Oracle games and explore the possibility that Link did defeat Veran and Onox, but failed to defeat Twinrova, so Ganon is successfully resurrected and takes over Hyrule. Years (possibly a hundred or so) pass, and a group of heroes rise up to defeat Ganon.
I have another idea I had been chewing since a some time ago.
The moblins or bokoblins gather around in a fireplace to tell terrific stories about the "Green Demon", who happens to be Link. This little story focuses on their point of view of how Ganon promised them a place to live and prosperity, while the Green Demon constantly kills their troops and eats their hearts.
While it certainly would be interesting to see Link villainized, I don't think it should be taken to the extreme that Link carves out their hearts and eat them raw to regain health. Personally, aspects of the games such as heart containers and monsters dropping hearts shouldn't even be put into fanfics unless the genre is humor or satire.
