Here's a mystery for ya. In OoT if ganondorf didn't find the triforce would he still get the triforce of power? If not, who would?
Well, if Ganondorf didn't find the Triforce then probably nobody ever would have found it. Ganondorf only got the ToP because he touched the Triforce, which split the Triangles into its three parts.
If Link had been old enough to wield the Master Sword and become the Hero of Time, then Link would have gotten it. Not just the Triforce of Courage, but Wisdom and Power too, as he has a balanced heart.
Then Ganon wouldn't have had much chance at even fighting a fair fight.
I would like to think that Link would have left the Triforce behind in the Sacred Realm and hid the "keys" so now one could ever get in there again. I can't see him as being comfortable with wielding such an awesome power.
I think it would have gone to naburu since she is from the same place as gannon
Naw, I don't think that'd happen. It would stay where it was till someone came and found it. It has no obligations as to who it will go to.
Funny thing I noticed reading Jack's first post in this thread. The abreviation for Triforce of Power, ToP, is fitting because is the "top" part of the Triforce. ;)

1. oook thats random
2. zelda would proubly get it or one of oot soporting charater whould get it
3. if gannon didnt get it the the hole fight with him wold have probly never of happened
I think it's kind of destiny that Ganon got the Triforce. Zelda and Link never touched it, but they recieved the Triforce of Wisdom and Courage, respectively.
right the whole second half of the game would have never of happened ::)
QuoteI think it's kind of destiny that Ganon got the Triforce.
I agree, that's a good point.
I also think that if Ganon didn't get the triforce no one would have, since he was the only one trying to get it.
No. Link was also trying to get it, y'know. Why do you think Zelda sent him out on that quest?
Zelda sent Link to stop Ganondorf from getting the Triforce. Because she didn't want it in the Evil Wizard's hands. And also because she couldn't go herself.
"I hope you don't mind father, but I'm going to fight King Dodongo, and get eaten by Jabu-Jabu."
Well, that's what I meant. Ganondorf wanted the Triforce, and Link searched for it because of that. Hence, both looked for the Triforce. ;D
...It's not often that I call him Ganondorf. ???

I always referred to him in my own way.
Ganon
dork, or Ganon
dwarf, even though neither of them have the slightest bearing as to what Ganon---- actually is. If anything, they are the contrary.
In one of my fan fics I actually call him Mandrag Dragmire, when he's 'human'-like. In that fan fic he didn't get the name Ganon before he became daemonic.
has ne 1 ever noticed that in minish cap that an the arch in the town it has a tri fource with wings on it?

But zelda and link where destined 2 gain the triforce ganondorf had 2 retrive it him self
That would only make him yet another villain. I think he's more than that.
true.
everyone seems to forget vaati!he would have surely claimed it if no one else did. but if minish cap came after wind waker, then mabey dark link would have got a hold of it! that would have been major trouble, seeing as how he was hard in the first place. any other theorys?
Dark Link is just a thing, a reflexion of Link's darker side. I believe he was created by the Zolas to guard the longshot and turn into a dark mirror of anyone who enters the chamber. A very genious trap, I must say. :P
As for the other versions, Shadow Link in AoL is pretty much the same, except he was created by some laughing old man.
Shadow Link in FSA is the only of them I can imagine would take the Triforce, as he seems to be slightly more independant than the others.
yea i guess so... but still, i like his minish cap form rather than his final ball of dark energy form......
How could it have been destiny? Din nayru and Faore control everybody's fate in Hyrule so if they knew Ganon was evil then one, why didn't they make it destiny he died at birth and 2 why did they make it his destiny to obtain part of the triforce and put their whole creation in danger??
Because their world was never in danger as they could make it anyone elses destiny to remove Gannon. Unless of course holding a piece of the triforce lets you create your own destiny and remove the influence of the Gods...
It is quite possable but if Zelda knows it is safe behind the door of time and nothing can get through to it then why did she tell Link to open the door. Why couldn't she destroy the OoT or one of the stones. She might aswell of giftwrapped it and given it to Ganon himself alongside with a cake and the Hylian Castle Guards singing happy birthay.
Destiny is not something certain, Shadow Ganon. Imagine that you stand in the middle of a road. Behind you is the past and before you is the future. You look behind yourself and it will be as clear as day, because that is something that has already happened. You then look forwards and everything will be foggy.
I also believe that destiny is like a large RPG. It's not about what will happen. It's about what will happen if you do this or that.
QuoteWhy couldn't she destroy the OoT or one of the stones. She might aswell of giftwrapped it and given it to Ganon himself alongside with a cake and the Hylian Castle Guards singing happy birthay.
Because they need the Triforce to defeat Ganon. Even if he can't get the Triforce he can still take Hyrule by force, and the fact that he is very close to the King gives him an advantage.
He can even do what Agahnim does in ALttP. Without the Master Sword no one can stop him. Well, unless they find some Silver Arrows. :P
lol well i've got to be honest I could never do the old gameboy games after I played Ocarina, It just didnt feel right. Thanx for pointing me in the right direction. Your fate isn't set in stone, but Ganon is lol. (for the time being anyway) ;)
Game Boy? Well, I guess you *could* call ALttP a Game Boy game, but that'd be an insult towards all old school Zelda fans. :P
Ay. I must dmit I would love to play the games if only I could get used to the grafics :P Its onbly because i played OoT first and was totally won over, I can't get used to any graphics below them standards
Well, I grew up with 8-bit graphics.^_^
lol
You should try and get into some of the Snes and Game boy Zelda games Shadow Ganon. My personal favourite is Alttp as that's the one that I grew up with, but if you find the graphical style to difficult to get a handle on you could try some of the newer ones released, such as Minish cap. Or not. Your choice ;D
I will be trying Minish Cap now i can play it on my DS and I may also give FS a try
oh yeah, you can play gba games on the ds!
a Link to the Past used to be my favorite, until I was asked to wright a walkthrough for it... The game changed.. lol!
lol
;)
lol I can't find minish cap ANYWHERE >:( >:( >:( >:(
