I know this is cheesy, but I was thinking to myself, what songs would I want to play at my wedding?
Maybe guys don't really think about this as much as girls do, I don't know, but I thought it would be nice to hear.
My wedding playlist would include (but not be limited) to:
Elenor Rigby - The Beatles
Into the Ocean - Blue October
1812 Overture - Tchaikovsky
I'm Ready - Jack's Manequin
She - Elvis Costello
God Only Knows - The Beach Boys
Eleanor Rigby is a bit depressing for a wedding, is it not? ;)
Anywho, Pretty Donna by Collective Soul would be great for when the bride comes down the aisle. Great orchestral piece.
No way!
Elenor Rigby is a masterpiece haha.
I don't care how depressing it is. lol.

Ooh, another good one.
agreed. I love songs with orchestral bits in them.
The whole song is an orchestral bit :p
It's kinda cool cuz Ed Roland wrote it in his basement, and he actually cried when it was performed by the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra at their hometown concert set, said he had no idea it could sound like that. The fact that it came from a rock band...:p
Chocolate Rain, THIS IS SPARTA!!, Banana Phone, Never Gonna' Give You Up, you know...the typical stuff.
EDIT:
On a more serious note, I remember my uncle hired me and my dad to play at his wedding as a saxophone trumpet duet. We played the tradition wedding canon stuff as well as, at my uncle's request, "How Sweet it is to be Loved by You". Some kinda live band thing like that would be cool. As for the songs themselves, I would like "Come Away With Me" among others.
Maybe I'm Amazed - Paul McCartney.

When the day met the night by panic at the disco
Oh, I forget the name, but there is that one verse that goes:
"Baby, baby, baby...
When you hold me like this,
and you touch me like that,
it was so long ago,
but it's all comin back to me..."
