1.)  Cullen's fangirls are probably far more stupid than Elric's fangirls, so that's not an advantage.

2.)  The fact that Elric was willing to sacrifice his right arm to bond his brother's soul to a suit of armor and that he succeeded in doing so is worth several points in Elric's favor.

Maybe you just need to change the values of the algorithm, I can see what you did there, I just don't know that much coding to actually pull it off myself.

I think it has more to do with how my program detects the amount of shift in the characters based on the most commonly-occurring character in the cipher. In this case, either the string just isn't long enough to give an accurate shift number, or it really is gobbledygook. :P
