What do you have against steampunk, Colonel Mustang?
That woman isn't even creepy. The hairstyle actually reminds me of Tetra.
...
!
Elderly Tetra?!
She's a bit pale in comparison, though, but I have always suspected that Tetra's skin color is just a tan.

HOW DO YOU NOT FIND THAT SCARY?! SHE IS A
TRAIN PERSON
It's quite obviously a steam-powered wheelchair, and her legs are hidden by the front of it.
Well, a magical steam-powered wheelchair. A regular one would probably become too hot to be practical.

They do resemble each other...
The only way they resemble each other is their hair.
We could also argue that Ezlo is really Tetra, but I highly doubt that. Although I won't completely discount the theory.

Maybe it's just me, but I think we should play a game, or at least familiarize ourself with the story, before we start poking fun at characters.
Ya'll should read this article - http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3176790&p=39
Looks great!
To be honest, Spirit Tracks looks pretty good. The appearance of the characters no longer surprises me anymore. Shock was stolen by Telma.

Dude, relax.
And I actually have familiarized myself with the story. About 2 days ago actually. ;)
Turns out that the creepy train lady is in fact a creepy train lady (http://www.zeldauniverse.net/zelda-news/introducing-a-new-race-of-hyrule-the-lokomo/) and is guardian of the Spirit Temple.
Creepy dude with the hat is Chancellor Cole, one of the main antagonists.
great, thanks for spoiling the game for me, guys >:C
My phylosophy is that if it happens before the first dungeon, then it's not a spoiler
Well, you have your philosophy, and I have mine. :P
