To you, yes. To me, it's something that'll hopefully keep the game fresh, and I want to know as little about it as possible so I'm more surprised.
Much like how I didn't really want the panel system spoiled for me in 358/2 Days, or even Limit Breaks.

But usually, the forums don't say anything about edits if they're, like, within only a few minutes of the original post's creation. I responded only a little more than a minute after he posted, so he should've had plenty of time to edit the post without its time registering in the database.
