i couldn't stand up since i couldn't balance any more so i had to lay down

For me, it depends on what's under my feet. As long as it is wide and feels stable, I'm fine, otherwise I start feeling fear.

yeah I get that sometimes, it's because of a fluid imbalance in the inner ear. Sometimes it can last a long time, sometimes not at all. It can cause pretty bad motion sickness if you're sensitive to that kind of thing.
