The website They Shoot Pictures, Don't They? has updated their annual list of the 1,000 Most Acclaimed Films ever made. (http://www.theyshootpictures.com/gf1000_top100films.htm) I'm sure many members here will be happy that movies like The Dark Knight and Peter Jackson's entire The Lord of the Rings trilogy are now on the list, though others won't be. Additionally, the number of movies from the 21st Century has more than doubled from 14 to 30.
On the 29th, their list of the 250 Most Acclaimed Films of the 21st Century will be updated, too.
Also, I'm happy about one thing: the number of movies on the list I have seen has increased this year by nearly twenty movies.
I saw some of my favorites on there. I'm pretty happy about that. :)
