JQ hasn't been on TDC in over a month.
Jeez, I expected him only to be less active when he said so in December, not just leave the site entirely. I guessed it was bound to happen, though.
Aww.
Do you miss having someone to mock you at every turn?
Do you miss fighting with him day in and day out?
I always giggled at it, but I didn't think he'd leave anytime soon.
He informed me of his intentions to take a possibly permanent sabbatical before he announced it to you all. It was his plan all along.
MAYBE HE'LL COME BACK IF YOU WISH REAL HARD
Actually, now that he's gone, it means I am the nastiest member of TDC.
Success! :P
I'd like to think I am now the most feared member on TDC.
Not that I ever wasn't.
Yeah, you always were a scary one. :)
Come to think of it, where's Commodore? Busy, as usual?
Yeah. he's been gone since... August, I think. Probably stolen by college. D:
All the older members are leaving us one by one.
And it's not like we've got younger members. I do believe I'm still the youngest (in time joined) that gets on regularly.
I say that if we don't get activity soon, we need to go on a TDC crusade. Somebody needs to fund the torches and pitchforks.
Lets hope it's not the Childrens Crusade.
maybe all the older people are just hylians who left the forest, and those of us who stayed are kokiri.
can i be a skull kid instead i like them
I wanna be Random Kokiri number 3.
You could be the one who stands on the roof and teaches Link how to Z-target.
HEY OVER HERE!
I'm going to be the one that does nothing but backflip over and over again.
I WANNA BE THE GUY THAT'S IN LOVE WITH THE ROCK! NOT THE Z-TARGET GUY!
No, I want to be the guy blocking the entrance to the rest of Hyrule.
Mido?
I'll be the one with the giant laser canon that saves Hyrule.
No, the guy I'm claiming wasn't Mido, just one of the other male Kokiri.
OH, sorry i got confused, too many kokiri obstruct your progress.
...
There's only two Kokiri who block your progress; Mido, as a child and later as an adult, and that Kokiri boy blocking the entrance to Hyrule Field before the Great Deku Tree dies.
Well, three, since Fado is part of the trading sequence for the Biggoron's Sword, but that's optional.
Good job stating the obvious, HNS.
Wait, how did this turn from a discussion about JQ leaving to one about Kokiri?
I don't know, but I call dibs on being one of the Know-It-All Brothers. ;D
I still wanna be the one that has the thing for the rock.
Speaking of the obvious in the Lucky Star Manga the page for Yui Narumi says "She's a newlywed that got marries recently."
CALL THE DEPARTMENT OF REDUNDANCY DEPARTMENT!
Seriously, could someone add that to TVtropes for me? Kthnxbai.
mission: derail the topic
result: SUCCESS
B) b
but yeah i'm the skull kid on the pedestal guys
you know, the one who is like >:x at you as an adult, that guy
Did this topic have rails to de-rail?
only in the "Spirit Tracks" section of the forums
Or if we're talking about character derailment (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CharacterDerailment).
This seems to be more like Adaptation decay, adapting to a post and decaying, it's Forum adaptation decay.
It seems to me that character derailment is a form of adaptation decay. A very extreme form of it.
I don't believe anyone here has de-railed themselves though, I believe that we're all VERY in character. So how can we, as our own characters, have been de-railed when we always act like this?

You know, your anime thing is starting to become an addiction. It's fine to be a fan of them, and stuff, but really.
It's not an obsession, it's a passion.
A rather obsessive one.
Yeah, at least I've limited most of my movie talk to movie websites I am a member of recently. (At least because I'm practically the only one who posted in the Supermovie topic.) In just about every topic you relate the subject to anime.
If you want me to leave for another forum I will, but considering how you're all complaining about a lack of members I'd get over it. (Of course it's not like this site gets much activity anyway. And I also complain about the lack of people)

Oh yeah it is. *thumbs up* but luckily the friends I have in real life are just as bad as me, so luckily I don't repel friends with it.

There are worse things to be addicted to. Like
Twilight.

And on the note of Anime addictions, At least I'm not addicted to the really really weird Anime and manga out there, like hard Yaoi and such. Heck I barely touch the soft yaoi.
Whocares, seriously, who gives a damn? It doesn't bother me any, personally. Sure, I notice he relates a lot of stuff to anime he likes, but is it really that big of a deal? I tend to do that with music or video games I like, in real life, I might add, and nobody minds it.
You know what's truly irritating, though? The way you so often assert your own opinion as superior to everyone else's, especially when it comes to movies. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone and all that jazz.
And let he who is without jazz cast himself headfirst into a stone.
I like that saying, I'm gonna use it sometime.

Wow, you didn't realize that I'm only messing with him.
Here I thought you had a sense of humor, TW.
...
That wasn't really humorous. I don't think you can use that defense at all, actually.
It's not like I took offense to it. So just forget about it. My offer to leave was based off of me just being angry at the lack of activity, not people.
So please, just forget about it.
Not all jokes are supposed to be humorous, Shika, as odd as that sounds.
Just read the dead baby jokes thread.
We'll all burn forever for that thread.

That stupid dead baby joke thread. They weren't funny. But I still laughed.

It's called a bad joke. Some people do it on purpose.
Why, I wonder? Aren't jokes supposed to be humorous for at least one party, by definition?
... Oh god, did I just see a twilight commercial for phones?
:-[
I seriously did.
I must now go bleach my brain.
I saw that too. I seriously hope it was a Take That (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TakeThat) to the Twilight series.
I bet we were watching the same channel. ;)
But yeah I hope it's a take that and not an ad for it.
Did Disgraceful Ed ever leave Mary Sue because of poor cell phone coverage?
Perhaps. I believe I was watching CBS.
Accidentally on Purpose is rather meh; and Two and a Half Men just pissed me off when Charlie persauded Chelsea not to go with breast reduction surgery, despite the fact that her breasts were starting to cause her back problems, and I just haven't been able to really enjoy the show since.

Yeah, we were watching the same thing.
