So, as I mentioned in the Supermovie Topic, I bought (among others) an old Jimmy Stewart western named The Far Country. This particular one is about Jimmy's battle between him and a corrupt "lawman" named Gannon in Alaska. (It's great, by the way. Way better than that made it sound.) Now, thinking that I could be wrong, I checked on Wikipedia to see if any information about his name was posted, but, not counting a name he had while the original game was being created that doesn't even resemble his current one, all I found was the usual "Legend of Zelda says Gannon" crap. Call this a coincidence, but I believe that Ganon was named after him.
I strongly doubt it. Strongly.
There are people out there with "Gannon" as a last name, like retired NFL quarterback Rich Gannon for example.
