I heard a Kingdom Hearts 3 will come out on the PS3 system, I just hope all the people from KH2 are in it
I choose to... linger... on past games consoles... snes, megadrive, ps1
Ah, yes, the older consoles are the best. ;D That gives me a good idea for a new topic... Carry on with your KH3 discussion.
P.S. ... I don't really like Kingdom Hearts... AHH!!! DON'T HURT ME!!! *Runs away*

i won't hurt any1 today
All will be revealed at E3... Or at least, all should be revealed. I read in an article from an interview with Nomura that he plans on putting it before KH2 rather than after, the same way that Metal Gear Solid 3 takes place before the first two.
It will definitely be for PS3 if it's to appear at all, since it will take a while to develop.
I just hope the same people are in it.
I don't like kingdom hearts. apparentley Cloud strife from ff7 is in it, and that disney characters are in it. the mix ruins it for me. I can't imagine cloud working with miket mouse or donald duck. tearing them apart with his sword, yes, working with them, no.
Cant say im too fond of the games. I HATE the disney characters in it. Did anyone else notice that KH2 has almost the same plot as KH1?? You need to find your friends and the king, in both games...

Or the Revolution. Don't forget that Square Enix is a third-party company and if the PS3 fails completely, as seems likely, it may be released on the Revolution. They're not going to develope for a console they won't earn any profits from.
And for anyone who still doubts, it wouldn't be the first time a game by Square has switched consoles. *cough*Final Fantasy VII*^cough* ;)

Where'd you hear that from? Is it the $600 price tag?
Well, that's one of the reasons. I mean, it's released next to the much cheaper and more innovative Revolution. I somewhat doubt they'll get back on the track and wins this generation.
For starters, they don't have any big first/second-party games, and third-party developers won't develop for a console they see no profit in. Therefore, a bad release may cost them most of their exclusive third-party games.
I still don't think Nintendo is about to return to their complete dominance of the market of the late 80's, when they dominated 80-90% of the market. It may be closer to 60-70%, with Sony and Microsoft sharing the remaining 30-40%. I don't dare hoping for any more.
Sure, it does seem fanboyish to hope that Nintendo will dominate, but that's not really the reason. I believe this competition is not hurting only Nintendo, but gaming in general.
There's two companies who's only in the market for the money, and then there's Nintendo which is innovating. I liked the Sega VS Nintendo battle a lot more, because in that battle both were innovative.
Anyway, I hope that KH3 comes out soon. I beat KH2 not too long ago ( :'( ), and I want the story to continue.

Sony seems to get away with high price tags because their stuff (in the uk at least) is supposed to be high quality.(my PS! was dropped, peed on by the cat and had the controller thrown at it by an angry brother)
Sega VS Nintendo
SEGA megadrive 2, :). my first console.
the new sega games (sonic ETC) seem like cheap spin-offs.
I've played the first game (only a bit) and liked it a lot, so I hope they come out with KH3, though not too soon. The immense amount of fanboys/girls from the release of the second game really ticked me off.

AWESOME YOU FINALLY BEAT IT CONGRATS
Yeah, can you believe it!? ;D I got it about one or two weekends ago!
For me, the final boss totally cheated when he fired all of those energy blasts toward you and you had to reflect them! A word of advice for all of you people who are about to fight the final boss: do NOT use Reaction Commands when you have to reflect; use the Attack (which depicts "Reflect") command on the Command Menu.
Anyway, we all know that the PS3's going to be expensive. KH3 should be worth it, though; I mean, Square really pulled it off in KH2!

Hey, whoa, slow down! That is completely not true!
You DEFINITELY want to use the Reaction command - the trick is to also be pressing the Attack at the same time. Since you aren't moving during this little sequence, I normally use my left thumb for the Reaction and my right thumb for the Attack. Do this, and you get both Riku and Sora flying all over the place reflecting the beams - so awesome!!!
How I love Kingdom Hearts, I and II. I don't even own a PS2, so I borrowed one from a friend, rented, and then beat KH2. I just wish it had the same difficulty of the first one...

Whoa. I never thought of that! Thanks, Alpha! ;D
It's just that the Reaction command never worked for me when I tried it, but when I think about it, it seemed that Riku was the only one reflecting and not Sora when I just used the Reaction command... When I just used the Attack command, I survived, but Riku took a little beating...
Still, though, thanks again, dude! :D
SWEET!!!!! ;D
No prob. ;) I was lucky enough to spot Riku flying every which way whenever I pressed the Reaction button, so I checked the attack button...and you know the rest. ;D
I've only fought the final boss in Kingdom Hearts I, which was somewhat easier than I expected. As for the Disney characters in the game, at least it's not the Disney Channel stars in the games. I have a sister who has an addiction on Disney Channel and it became old real fast. If you ever want to find out how to make something new old real fast, watch the Disney Channel. As for the games, I was born and raised on Nintendo, but now that I have some experience with the PS2 controller I'll give it a shot. And as long as the game is good, I don't care what console it's on.
It's not just good, all of the Kingdom Hearts games are AWESOME, especially the second one! ;D
10 years later and we're still waiting for this.
