So yeah, it's my first job. Got the pool inspected today and had my first in service training.
Tomorrow I start work EARLY And work all day. I don't think many people will be swimming as it'll be chilly. But I still gotta go in...
Discuss, congratulate, or whatever you like.
Wow. That's freaking awesome, man! I hope it goes (and pays) well!
Be sure to pick up a few babes for me, 'kay? ;D
I must preform mouth to mouth!
"but I'm fine..."
Oh are you?

You sure are. *wink*
Fix'd. ;D
Congrats on the job! Enjoy the freedom you get to have with the money you earn while you can; it won't be long before you're actually depending on that money to live. As it is now, you don't have any bills to pay yet, so you can spend it on stuff you like.
I did the math, taking my usual impulse buying into account and I'll have about 1000 Extra dollars at the end of the summer. That's also after putting 1/3 of it into my investments.
Feels good to make $10 an hour.
And so Chuckinator actually begins to enter the real world...
Yeah, I have begun to join reality.
Ditto; while we're on the topic of jobs, apparently, I was offered a job just today. I don't know when I start, but I'll likely be doing Web developing, hopefully with a lot of PHP learning.
Same hourly wage, too. What a coincidence. :P
Congrats! Hope you find something useful to do with all that cash...

Oh, I don't really have anything planned for the money.

There's a Petco opening up near where I live. Come on down here and we can try to get a Sales Associate job together.
Does "investments" include college?
Investments is my general IRA.
So yeah, my retirement fund.
College too.
It's great that you're doing it early. The stuff grows exponentially, you know, assuming the type of interest is compound.
But come to think of it, does any bank really have continuous compound interest?
