Title: The End
Post by: MasterKeyX on August 02, 2010, 11:08:27 AM
Guys, I have some very bad news.

A few days ago, I was prancing around New York City, being the city little Key I am. It was a good day. Warm. Sunny. Upon boarding the SIR train, I found I no longer had my bag- this was tragic.

It contained all my YGO cards, which I had spent both time and money constructing for epic deck purposes. I lost 10 DS games, but most importantly, 3 Pokemon ones.

350+ hours of hard work, gone. A full 493 dex. Pokemon I had spent hours working on, honing, making great. I was truly attached. And now it was gone. I cried. I cried like a baby, and sat home the next day, depressed. I had ran around for 3 hours trying to find it, but to no avail.

It was truly the end of an era. Sometimes, I still walk around out here, looking for my bag helplessly, even though I know I'll never find it...

You can't imagine the pain I'm feeling for you right now. A similar thing happened to me, and furthermore I know what it feels like to lose years of progress. It'll be a long time before you recover from this =/
It's just the truth. I hope the joys that the 3DS are sure to bring will wash away the sadness with new awesome stories and adventures.

Aw... Dude... How simply... Awful! (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Laconic/UnderStatement)

If I were magic, I'd bring that stuff back to you. :(

I'm starting to think the same fate awaits my copies of Final Fantasy III and FF IV Advance.  It's partially my fault for lending them to my brother in the first place; he can barely take care of his own crap, so why should I let him borrow anything I own, right?

Well, you got a full Pokedex once.  I'm sure you'll do it again.  In the meantime, for the sadness, I prescribe plenty of ice cream of the flavor of your choosing.

Thanks guys.  ;) I actually already started again, rebeating the Ruby Version and constructing a new team. it'll just take awhile.

I feel most upset about the Pokemon I trained from LeafGreen version all the way up to HG/SS. But I can rebuild, and my girlfriend has been really supportive.
