Title: Freaky stuff.
Post by: Twilight Wolf on October 02, 2010, 05:51:37 AM
So I unboxed the USB gamepad I bought at a thrift store a few days ago. Set it on my desk. Then, while I was thinking of it, I decided to move my pile of clean clothes to be put away to my bed so that I could sit in my desk chair later. Dinner was ready, so I went to go eat.

Came back about an hour and a half later to discover someone or something bled on my bedsheets. But... nobody went into my room between when I came out and went back in, and I know it wasn't there when I left since the clothes I put on my bed are RIGHT NEXT TO THE BLOOD SPOTS. Certainly nobody had cut themselves and bled that much -- I would have heard about it, especially if they bled on my stuff. I wondered if maybe I'd had a nosebleed in the middle of the night without knowing it, but why the hell didn't I notice it until now? Besides that, my pillowcase is completely normal, and it's too far from my head to have been what happened. Thought maybe a bug bite on my leg bled or something while I was asleep, but that's on the front of my leg, which means the drops would be impossible where they are, and I had no dried blood anywhere on me. We have no pets in the house that could have done it. Didn't find a dead animal hiding in my clothes or anything. Just... blood drops. On my bedsheets. For no reason. o_o

Anyone else experience freaky stuff like this? D:

That is freaky.  Are you sure it's blood?

Close to 100% sure it's blood, at least as far as I can determine. Not sure what else it could be. It's the same color, same kind of stain (blood drops make stains with round edges, not jagged ones like many other liquids). Looks just like the kind of stain that occurred when I had a nosebleed while I was in bed once, but like I mentioned, the pillowcase is still unchanged and it's too far away from where my head is for that to be it.

Wow. That is creepy.

Your guess is as good as mine regarding the cause.

When I was younger, I heard my mom call for me from the kitchen.  I ran downstairs and was about to step inside the door to the kitchen when the cupboard under the stairs opened and something inside grabbed my ankle.  It was my mom.  "Don't go in there," she said, "I heard it, too."

My sister flooded the basement one time when doing the laundry, and suddenly she gets a phone call from my grandmother, asking "everything okay?"

Well, I talked to everyone in the house about the mysterious blood and nobody had been in my room at all that night. That whole day, for that matter. And I'm 100% sure it wasn't me, so I have no idea what happened. o_o

Anyways, we got the blood stain out completely with some hydrogen peroxide. I'll have to remember that for the future.

I will write that in my notebook of femininity.

"Blood comes out with hydrogen Peroxide..."

We haven't had a cat in the house since... January. Spookie never comes in the house and Daniel died in Febuary. D:

I have a lab hidden away beneath my room.  You can use it if you promise to keep it as messy as when you first got there.

Nice topic. That's pretty creepy man, I'd have flipped out. Here's something weird that happened to me about a week ago. I have college on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday I woke up around 11 and laid in bed for a while watching TV. I got up, let the dog out, and before taking a shower, I checked HA2 for new posts. Puppy laid down under my chair like she always does. I didn't bother to turn any music on, I was only gonna be on for a moment before taking a shower. I'm the only one home, my sister at school, my parents at work. It's dead silent save my mouse clicks. Then I hear a noise down stairs in the kitchen. It wasn't just some plates falling over each other in the sink either. It sounded like a bag of chips fell off the pantry shelf. I knew I heard it, but I checked to see if puppy heard it too, and she did. She was staring at the stairs, and then she trotted over to look down into the hall way.

It was only a bag of chips though (or so it sounded) so I didn't bother. Things fall all the time, it didn't bother me that much. But puppy dog really wanted to investigate, but she was scared to go by herself. She would go halfway down the stairs, then come back up and yelp at me. Awesome, new posts! I'll reply when I get out of the shower. Dog is still running up and down the stairs. I decide to let her go and I head down the stairs with her. She runs into the kitchen and I follow her in there. Might as well pick the chips up. I rounded the corner, and stopped. I had to do a little mental back tracking in my head- because the chips were sitting in the middle of the floor. Away from anything they could have fallen off of. I tried to think of every possible way that they could have landed the way they did, but I kept coming up with nothing.

The bag of tortilla chips just sat there in the middle of the floor. How could it have happened? I ran simulations in my head over and over again. I took a picture on my phone to show my mom, and put them back. The chips, to land where they did, would have had to be thrown off the pantry shelf with considerable force. They couldn't fall and then slide... I was wondering if maybe the dog drug them across the floor before I got there, but she was staring at them when I walked in RIGHT after her. Like she would have had to do it lightning quick for me not to see it. I looked around the pantry for maybe another bag of chips or anything else that might have fallen, and that the tortilla chips had been there all along. Nothing. The floor was neat and tidy, nothing out of place. I ran every possible situation through my head and came to nothing still. It's still in the back of my mind even today. My parents claim to be having some weird things happening to them too.

Fixed it for you. -TW

Hotlinking is not allowed, ZV.  Save the pic to your computer and put it up on a photo-hosting site.

I would love to if I knew a CSI.

And still had a sample of the blood.

I'm fully aware it's nothing like it is on TV. That's one of the many reasons I can't stand the show -- it insults your intelligence.

Really?  I don't think that's what they're trying to do.  At least not intentionally.

Interestingly enough, I do have access to a fully-equipped crime lab.  If you wish to have any samples tested mail them to me via priority refrigerated next-day shipping.  Please allow 6-8 hours for specimen processing before results are provided.

Especially coming from someone with an avatar from a show that I can't remember what it was called, but it was an awesome show to watch.
