That jingle jangle jingle.
JOHNNY GUITAR....
YAY YOU'RE A COWBOY NOW!
as I go ridin' merrily along...
Ain't that a kick in the head?
Oh Johnny....
WHAAAAAAAAAT
My Johnny...
((We're quoting radio songs from Fallout New Vegas.))
Oh, is that what we're doing?
Um....
*runs away*

That's fine so long as you played up until you find benny. It wasn't until after that part that I truly started enjoying the game.
So far my favorite companion is Cass, and my favorite pet is Rex. ED-E is awesome, being enclave and all, but Rex is my big cyborg puppy.
I didn't like any of the story.
Neither did I. It isn't until after you find Benny that the crappy story actually ends, and you can explore the crap out of the Mojave. There have been some amazing side quests in this game.
edit: If you find Vault 11, read all the terminal entries. That place has an amazing story behind it, and the ending of the story is hilarious.
