Title: Plot

So does anyone know what the plot of twilight princess is actually going to be?

Well we know that Link comes from a small village called Toaru Village. He is summoned to a meeting somewhere and gets trapped in the ever-expanding twilight realm. He's locked up, but gets busted out by Midna, a wierd Imp. So then they gotta do something, probably find a way to dissipate the twilight realm. So yeah, that's allI know so far. Oh yeah, you'll be doing some temple-trekking.

There's a chance we could find out the details of the plot at E3 this year, but I'd rather the whole thing be kept a mystery until the release. That way I don't see any of it coming. I want to be surprised by this one  ;D

Run and hide, my friend.  I am sure Miyamoto wants to tell all on Twilight Princess, and I dont think he will wait much longer than E3.

Miyamoto? I'd die of shock if he were to reveal everything. :P They will show a gameplay footage of when Link is a wolf, and maybe give us some more information. But I doubt the main plot will change much.

It's like with TWW. All they revealed was that Link's sister was kidnapped. Those that hadn't seen the spoiler screenshots wouldn't have known that the Master Sword is in the game before playing it.

I believe the Sword of Evil's Bane will be in TP too, but the player may acquire it differently from the traditional find-three-jewels-and-pull-Master Sword-from-pedestal. They have hinted that TP is very original.

As for the plot, I have a new theory that TP will, in a way, be a prequel to ALttP. I mean, all that's been revealed so far is that it's between OoT and TWW. Also, although OoT fits perfectly to the real legend of the Sealing War (in Triforce of the Gods, the Japanese version of ALttP) there is one problem. OoT doesn't explain why Ganon has the Power of Gold, the whole Triforce, in ALttP.

TP may be the game explaining that. Oh, yeah. I know what some of you may be thinking. The Triforce of Courage was split up and the shards were hidden after OoT.

But King Daphnes Nohansen only said that Link lost the element that made him a hero, and the shards are hidden in the Great Sea, not in Hyrule. It's unlikely that it was split up before the Flood.

It would make sense, because now that Nintendo care more about the timeline I think they're trying to fill in plot-holes.

Also, remember that the legend of the Flood hints more to a resurrection than the breaking of a seal.
