Do you think there's some kind of connection between the Dark world (from LttP) and the Twilight Realm? I'm only saying this because of people's changes in the Twilight Realm.
There should be some connection between the two. For me, though, I would say that they were parallel realms, for that they have many similarities. However, I think that as you progress through the game, the Twilight Realm's radius decreases, unlike the Dark World.
I was thinking along the lines of something like that.
It's been stated that the Twilight Realm isn't the Dark World, but that may not mean that it's not related to it. I have a theory that it actually comes from the Dark World. It may be a new kind of magic that Ganon is brewing.
It might also be a monster manifestation, but I doubt it.
has this been brought up before or am I the first person to notice?
I've brought it up before but not in my own topic... You're the first to start a strand on it.
I see, could this idea prove any plot details in the game?
I don't know what happened, but my computer just logged me out. I was saying that Twilight Princess (hereforth TP) may be a prequel to The Minish Cap (hereforth TMC [excuse the laziness]). TMC back story mentions that darkness once covered Hyrule. Isn't the Twilight Realm darkness? A picture in TMC back story shows a hero that looks similar to Link. Another picture shows a Moblin, which I think could be Ganon, seeing as how he is the main threat to Hyrule. If this is true, then in TP, Ganon could be coming out of the Dark World and part of the Dark World is pouring out as the Twilight Realm.
Umm, Ganon is the final boss to TP, right? Do we know that?
I doubt it, the moblin is just one of the most common enemies in Zelda games and threw it in there to show an enemy that everybody remembered.
Everyone must remember Octorocks; they've appeared in every single Zelda game to date.
So, you're saying that the Moblin in the back story of TMC could be Ganon? And Ganon does look a little bit like a huge Moblin.
And, a Moblin looks like a pig, so, by using a bit of transitive logic, Ganon looks like a pig; therefore, it is conceivable that that Moblin is Ganon.
Yeah, but it's still pretty doubtful whether that Moblin is Ganon.
Well, who else would it be? ???
The balarge ???
The what? ???
I don't know who it could be. Maybe it is a really big Moblin?

Actually, Moblins were never shown as pigs until TWW. Before that they were dogs. It may be because Ganon's daemonic form is a pig that they changed them, though.
Unless the Picori Blade is a Master Sword look-alike with a purple hilt I slightly doubt that TP is the BS of TMC, though.
Yeah, now that I remember. In the Oracle series, the moblins are pigs. And I believe they are in the classics.
Well, according to the Compendium, TWW takes place before LoZ. Although I still believe that there's transitivity in that connection, there may be a mystery to the "dog-pig" thing.
I think the dog thing might have been a complication due to the amount of power the earlier systems had.
It could've been intentional, though. Remember that there have been other things in Zelda (I think) that have changed as the series continued.

Those pigs in the Oracles are Pig Warriors.
Nice to know that I caused qutie a bit of a stir. And if memory serves correctly, the Moblins in ALttP looked like pigs. At least, they do on the remake. I want to get a Super Nintendo and ALttP to make comparisions and get a feel for the older version.
The only difference is the controller really.

As well as the same noises that Link makes in OoT aren't there.
Well, I remember playing Lttp at the age of 5 and being scared of the guards in front of my castle. lol.
Well, I used to, if not still, afraid of ReDeads and Gibdoes. I don't think that you're alone.

I don't think the Pig Warriors in ALttP are Moblins...
I think that they are just soldiers created in the image of Ganon because Ganon think's he's cool.
Well, then they'd be blue. :P In that game, at least.
Well Ganon didn't want exact clones. Then Ganon would get bored eventually.
yeah, and It would remind him too much about the Smurfs... which really isn't that nice....
Even Ganon would be afraid then, and the smurfy evil creatures would rule the galaxy! :o
