I do think that Twilight Princess, looking back, was a very good game. However, it had the potential to be much more. In what ways do you guys believe it could have been better?
I will state this now: I would have loved it if Link and Ilia kissed.
Nothing like having a massive overworld, and few intelligent NPC's to talk to. There were VERY few people in the game, and for as big as the place was they could have put a LOT OF SIDEQUESTS. The place was big enough for SOOOO much potential. Sometimes I swear I should be working on these games :-X
Zelda needs to have at least one large scale, full on battle where Link goes and mows down tons of mooks.
I mean, he'll have allies and his own army, but IT NEEDS ONE.
It's be awesome.

Kind of like Kingdom Hearts II?
Because I can't say it enough, and because I don't need to repeat what ZV said, we need more Gerudos in the series. Actual Gerudos (not including Ganondorf), not mentions of them.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS! (I don't know. Maybe not. We've all obviously beaten the game by now but you never know who'll read this.)

As one of the darkest Zelda games I've ever played, I was surprised that nobody died. I mean Midna came close but that wasn't much. I was actually surprised to see I won't say their name die in Spirit Tracks when it was such a light and cheerful game. If I could have changed anything about TP, it would be that they would make at least one character die. It just seems to add more emotion to the story.
I thought Spirit Tracks was rather dark, actually--only it managed to hide it behind a cutesy art style. It was pretty much like Tales of Symphonia in that regard. But yes, I concur with you, Vaati.
For me, I'd say my biggest gripe was that the combat was way too easy. The enemies, when struck, suffer from massive amounts of hitstun and, when they hit you, deal very little damage. The game was also veeeeeeery forgiving on giving you free life energy. If they made hearts about four times as rare as they were in the game, and maybe doubled or tripled the amount of damage enemies did (except the Ball-and-Chain Knight; now that was a good fight), they'd be about right.
