On the note of the Wii. ::) It sounds a lot dumber than the Revolution. The Revolution made it sound like a revolt against traditional gaming.

Revolution might be good here, but outside English phonetic regions it doesn't have the same global impact. Unless someone understands english, revolution means nothing, plus in Japanese(if I'm not mistaken) they don't even have the R sound, further complicating things. A benefit is that Wii doesn't actually mean anything, so it gains connotation.

Yeah. Connotation or not, "Wii" makes Nintendo sound less serious about what it trys to accomplish.

I'd go with B, and I'd rather not stick around with friends who'd not buy a console because of the name. C'mon, we know what it can do. It can download old games, and the controllers are revolutionary. Everything's that's changed is the name. The console is the same.
Besides, what about 360, or PS3? Those names aren't even creative. Wii is the most genious name a console has ever had.

The first time Nintendo got drunk was when they came up with Navi; but remember that it's just some crazy theory from a crazy mind.
Now that I know that you can use the Gamecube controller on the Wii, my fears are laid aside. And if it can play DVDs, I guess I can save money and not buy a DVD player.
Not to mention that dowload feature for the past consoles.

Back to the topic of the name change, the shock of the new name is over for me. I'm ready to call it the Nintendo Wii. Of course, I'm going to use it interchageably with the Revolution just because that's the kind of guy I am. ;D
