Title: South Park: You're Getting Older
Post by: Deku on July 14, 2011, 02:12:50 PM
The ending of this episode is possibly the most depressing thing I've seen since the ending of Death Note.

I can't believe the way the episode ended.

I'm just completely in shock here. South Park actually hit me on an emotional level. SOUTH PARK. Man that was hard to watch.

Has anyone seen the episode?

I'm not even a watcher of the show, and to hear you say this, I'm shocked, as well. O.o

I don't really watch it anymore since I don't have cable and Hulu is being stupid.

If you'll never watch another South Park episode, watch this one:

You're Getting Old (http://www.southparkstudios.com/full-episodes/s15e07-youre-getting-old)

It's not as funny as the other episodes, but it seems to reflect Matt and Trey's feelings as writers. It looks like it's marking the end of the series, honestly. IGN said:

Quote from: IGN"the most somber material the series has ever produced... providing the emotional soundtrack for a montage of images that just rip the heart out of any South Park fan"

My friends are equally astonished at the dark turn the series has taken.
