Title: The Music in TP
Post by: Keaton on July 29, 2011, 03:09:04 PM
I just remembered the first time I felt Twilight Princess became truly awesome.  During the fight with Ook, the music was fun and light, and the first phase of Diababa was kind of cool, but nothing special.  Then, once the full form of Diababa came out, the real music began and my mind was blown.  It was like they were holding back to lower your expectations just to blow your hair back with the true boss music, and it worked.  I'm not gonna lie, I teared up a little.

So, what was your take on TP's score?  What was your favorite song?  I loved the Diababa fight theme, but my favorite song was probably Morpheel's second form.

Hmm, where to begin!?

There's "The Ballad of Twilight," first and foremost, both in Hyrule Field form and in wolf form--the former, good enough to get into Brawl.

There's the theme for the Sacred Grove, as well. It turns one of the most-upbeat songs in Zelda history into one that is mysterious and quite calm.

Blizzeta's first form is sweet. DAT CHOIR!

The song that plays when you play the canoeing minigame is cool, too.

Stallord's second form. Really, need I say more? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUL-k1CLql4)

The song that plays during the horseback battle is epic.

And "Midna's Lament." Such a sad, beautiful piece during a very serious time.

I'd say more, but I'd probably be here all night.

Stallord's Music always reminded me of Volvagia. XD

I enjoyed the Trailer music, it was like... That one always had me tearing up.

The credit music was really well-done. Long, but totally worth it. I also like Blizzeta's 2nd phase music.
