Well, I went on a Youtube binge today and looked up the intros to all my favorite shows from Nickelodeon before the modern era. You know, shows like Ren and Stimpy, Rocko, Angry Beavers, Kablam, etc etc. Any of you guys ever have those moments?
Haha, I forgot all about Kablam. That was a good show. Just the other day I was on YouTube watching All That. That was like the best show ever. Besides Rocko's Modern Life. And Ren and Stimpy.
Any of you guys remember Hey Arnold and the Wild Thornberries? Good times. :D
Ooh, yeah, all good times. It's hard to believe most of them are over ten years old by now. @_@
It makes me feel so freaking old to think about that because I can remember watching the show when it came out xD
My childhood (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbJADA8a8Fc&hd=1)
Note: this is also why I'm a furry.
I watched several episodes of Dexter's Lab with my roommate yesterday. I get the jokes so much more now.
Rugrats was awesome before Dill showed up.
All grown up was a mistake.
Dexter's lab (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pks6K74413g&feature=related) still remains (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6qFJ09KY-A) as one of my favorite cartoons (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbGAv5jvohE&feature=related) of all time. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWKWmpOYAto)

Powerpuff girls is on Boomerang.
You all feel ancient now.
I remember when episodes of it were still new.
*sigh*
We're all so old.
Who remembers Candle Cove?
I'm one of the few who still think Rugrats didn't have a gigantic fall in quality when Dill showed up. I mean, it isn't as good as the pre-Dill stuff, but Rugrats was still one of Nickelodeon's best. All Grown Up, though...
Some other shows I loved a lot as a kid include Full House, SpongeBob, Fairly Odd Parents, Dexter's, Dragon Ball (and the other versions), Pokemon, Invader Zim, The Wild Thornberrys, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Animaniacs, Yu-Gi-Oh! (seriously, though this does make the Abridged Series even better for me), The Powerpuff Girls...
Pretty much anything from before 2002, actually. From that year on they began to notably drop in quality with each year (Avatar is a miracle by Nickelodeon's current standards) and eventually, like any kid from the age of 11-15, went through the whole "I'm too old for kids stuff" period before, you know, high school happened and, like any teenager from 15-18... well, this thing I liked on Facebook sums it up:
Elementary school: Yay, crayons!
Middle school: Crayons? What are we, five?
High School: Holy [censored], crayons!
At least we have Ponies.
OH! Who remember's the old Disney Channel show "Boy Meets World"?
That was a good one.
So, I'm watching Toy Story on ABC Family, and in the scene where Woody is trapped under a crate and a toolbox, I noticed that the toolbox is a Binford toolbox. I had a nice little chuckle out of that.

OMG <3
Best show from childhood. How did I possibly forget it?!
I didn't. I've been buying the seasons as they've been coming out. The final season is released I think next month. Squee.
Also, just got a mad hankering for Batman: The Animated Series.
OH!
Batman Beyond!
Also: Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Oh yeah, those were good shows as well!
Gosh, don't we all feel ancient?

Heh. I have friends on other sites that
are too old for these shows to be childhood memories. So no, I don't.

And I have friends that don't even know what half of these shows are.
Also: Hey Arnold!, All That, and The Amanda Show.

Finally! Someone on the Internet who doesn't hate that show! :'D

I mean, yeah, it
is kind-of stupid, but so are a lot of other sitcoms (for which read: almost all of them). Full House is often very funny, and I like all of the characters. It only gets so much more hate than other sitcoms because it was one of the most popular, not because it was one of the worst.
I guess there is a reason why it had a legendary seasonal run. Do you think the hate may just be a vocal minority?
Hmm. I wouldn't really say it's Vocal Minority, since the world seems to be split pretty evenly between haters and lovers. Of course, the hatred is pretty overblown, and the show isn't perfect. I will always openly say that I like the show, however. :P
Oh yeah, forgot Roseanne. Best show ever.
Meh. Roseanne is still being shown on several channels, it's just that they stopped making new episodes.
These youngins don't know what they missed when they were born!

I'm glad to hear you will. Holy cow, am I glad...
Plus, I will always have the theme song stuck in my head. And I am not at all ashamed.
It is certainly a catchy tune, no doubt about that.
It's probably trumped by the Happy Days theme song, though, but hey, that's like saying your basketball skills are good and, yet, are outshined by Michael Jordan.
My favourite shows when I was younger were: Thundercats, Clarissa Explains It All, Fresh Prince of Bel Air (They've just started repeats again here, it's as great as ever!) Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Smurfs, The Animals of Farthing Wood, Biker Mice From Mars, Gargoyles, Mummies Alive, and I'm sure there are loads more, but those are ones I really remember.
Who doesn't love Fresh Prince? In tenth grade, my Art class happened to be during a time that allowed us to watch an entire episode of the show every day, and our really nice teacher allowed us to watch it.
Good times.
I can tell you that I'm not one of the haters. That show is awesome! Will Smith, FTW!
Fresh Prince? That show was boss!
