You know the drill. Just vote for your favorite Zelda game. I voted for Wind Waker because the sea is alot more fun then the land in the other games. Also, I still want to collect ALL the figurines! ;D

Thanks, Whocares. Because of you, I can now vote for BOTH my favourite games; LoZ and AoL for the NES. :P Why they're my favourites? Must be the extremely strong nostalgia that not even ALttP and LA has.

I'm actually writing a fan fic that takes place after LoZ. Well, the first chapter is about Link's journey through the heart of Ganon's domain, and his battle with Ganon.

It also has some other things, like a big battle between what remains of Hyrule's Southern Army and a large host of Ganon's Army (consisting of Dodongo/Gohma riders, amongst others).

Thank you! Also, the only reason I put them together is because they're similar. Dito with the Oracles and games mentioning the Four Sword.

The time limit in Majora's Mask presents a unique challenge.  Doing just one thing differently affects the rest of the game until you go back in time, when you go do it all over again.  Wearing the different masks brings out more sides to the characters and make them see more realistic.  I also like the chance to go beat a boss over and over again.  The only thing it is missing is more transformation masks!

Yay, MM is fun, but I prefer those figurines than the masks! ;D

I've only collected the figurines in TMC, and it was boring and tedious work.  I am never erasing that file.

It's more difficult in TWW because you have to take GREAT pictures of the figurines you want. Also, some pictrues are only available for a certain time period. Example:                                                                          Tetra and Pirates. Take pic of Tetra at Hyrule Castle. Show to Carlov. Return a day later. You get the entire pirate crew with her!

I'm going with Ocarina of Time because it was the first Zelda game I've ever played, and my sister and I teamed up to beat it. That's all that I'm saying, though.

Yay, OOT is my second favorite game! Yet, no figurines, so I fell slightly empty inside, because you can't look at all the cool stuff you beat.

it may sound kind of strange but I really love 4 sword adventures. It's not fun when you play alone, but with your friends or in my case brothers, it's fun! I loved picking up my brothers and tossing them near bad guys.  ;D

OoT was awesome.  I love the Mirror Shield and the Biggoron's Sword (that was a pain in the butt to get near the end, but worth it).

It's fun to walk around with.

Hey Link!  What a big sword you have!
Why, yes, Mido, yes it is.
Can I hold it?
Do you have at least the Silver Gauntlets?
No.
Then no.
But you don't have the Silver Gauntlets.
YOU SHALL NOT REVEAL MY SECRET, INSOLENT FOOL!  *hacks at Mido*

That's pretty much what I would do to Mido.  Git.  At least he has a change of heart when you're an adult.

Technically, I was on topic.  I was explaining why it was my favorite game.

Link's Awakening was another good game.  I love the Mt. Tamaranch music.  I could sit in front of the Wind Fish's egg and listen to it forever.  Or until my battery runs low.  Whichever comes first.
Title: Re:Favorite Zelda Game and Why

Oh, and LA is fun. I play it when I'm not playing the Gamecube games. And yes, Mt. Tamaranch music is nice.

I wish I had a program to make MIDIs and MP3s.  I would make Zelda remixes all day.

Getting back to LA (DX version), I love having both the Red Tunic and the L-2 sword.  Such power...It's intoxicating...Must have more.

Ahem.  I don't think anyone even mentioned the Oracle games.  I love messing around with the seasons.  Forget stopping Onox.  Stop Link!  Dimitri is my favorite pet.  Sure, he can't charge up energy, but he's the only pet that can swim and eat his enemies.

Post count doesn't matter. It's what you PUT in the posts that matter. Any idiot can reach 1,000 or 2,000 posts. Many intelligent forum posters doesn't even get half because they only post when they have something constructive to say.

Are they any less worthy as forum posters? Of course not! Now, let's try and stick to the topic.

Jeez, I'm suprised the MM is beating OoT.

We're not going to be sure if TP is going to be the great Zelda game or not at this moment. I mean, sure, it's going to have the greatest graphics out of all of the other games, but that in no way makes it better than all other Zelda games in history.

I chose Link's Awakening. It was either that or OoT.
Title: Re:Favorite Zelda Game and Why

Actually, I think the TP graphics suck. They need to add a little more light.

QuoteI didnt think it needed to be delayed in the first place...

So, are you saying you'd rather prefer a rushed game? At the moment TP has more dungeons than OoT. Had it been released last year several of those dungeons WOULD have been cut out. And I say that as a fact, not a speculation.

TWW was delayed a few months and they cut out THREE dungeons and added the Triforce Quest to make up for it. It should have been delayed a whole year, like OoT.
Title: Re:Favorite Zelda Game and Why
Post by: MasterKeyX on June 19, 2006, 11:25:26 AM
In WW, i wouldve rather done dungeons than the triforce quest. The quest was really hard.

Title: Re:Favorite Zelda Game and Why
Post by: MagmarFire on June 20, 2006, 09:36:55 AM
Well, then the delay would produce two good things: more dungeons to play in and the fact that you probably don't need Tingle to steal your money. ;D
