So I noticed there wasn't a topic for this.
Not only has a Majora's Mask remake been confirmed, but an all new Zelda title is in the making. Nothing has been announced about the new title, but one thing is certain:
I am excite.
Nintendo also just released a slew of amazing games (free for ambassadors) including The Minish Cap, Fire Emblem Sacred Stones, and fraking KIRBY. So I've been absorbed in Fire Emblem for weeks, and now I have not just one, but TWO Zelda titles to look forward to.
So let's recap on this console:
Ocarina of Time remake.
Majora's Mask remake.
Upcoming Zelda title.
Luigi's Mansion 2
Starfox 64 remake.
Super Mario 3D Land (which was excellent)
Kid Icarus is coming out.
Mario Kart 7 (it's amazing)
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater
ALSO there's a new Fire Emblem in the making. Look it up, it looks great!
Not to mention all the downloadable stuff for ambassadors...
Needless to say, I'm a very happy owner of the 3DS, and I feel like the 3DS is Nintendo's way of saying, "Sorry."
Apology accepted, Nintendo.
:')
Apology accepted.
Shut up! Majora's Mask 3D is confirmed? Nintendo is actually working on it, not just saying they hope to make it? Link to your source, man!
So glad I got my red 3DS, and I can't wait to get a hold of OoT3D, Star Fox 64 3D, Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7. Can't wait for Kid Icarus to come out, either, but I especially can't wait for Kingdom Hearts 3D; Japan's getting it soon, which means we're not too far behind! Sometime in 2012.
So, I dug around on Wikipedia for the new 3DS Fire Emblem game. It has a travesable map, like in Sacred Stones. Honestly, it's a feature I can't live without in a FE game; FE8 spoiled me. Now if it also has a customizable character and the ability to switch off the "permenant character death," like in Shin Monshō no Nazo: Hikari to Kage no Eiyū (which I'm still waiting to see if it'll be released outside of Japan), it would be even more perfect. Special Skills return, and work like they did in Path of Radiance, and now there's an option to perform a team attack with a supporting character.

I Guess Confirmed was a bit of a big word (http://ds.ign.com/articles/121/1211631p1.html)
But the fanbase made enough noise that they've talked about it seriously. Think about it- why wouldn't they? They wouldn't have to spend as much money making a remake- it's almost a thoughtless task! Just make the classic with better graphics and more features. Everyone I've talked to has said they'd buy it. It'd be dumb for them to NOT do it.

Yeah, it's all in japanese, so I didn't understand the double attack thing that I saw in the trailer. My co-worker and I are huge Fire Emblem freaks, and when he told me about the new one for the 3DS I looked everything up on my phone immediately. It also looks like they're going with a new type of art style too. Still anime, but different looking.

In short, your body isn't ready.
...And mine isn't, either, for that matter, as there are still DS games that are coming in the mail that I still need to play! (Especially
The World Ends with You; I need to play that game to prepare for
Dream Drop Distance.)
