Curious question here, In what time line will TP take place, from my experience in Zelda, there were a couuple, OoT and MM, LTP and LA, TWW is differnet though from what iseen, So tell me which lol, I am guessing probably a new Line
All of the games take place on one timeline. As of right now, it's up to the fans to sort out a timeline themselves. There are several out there, and I have two myself.
To answer you question about the placement of TP in the timeline, it's been stated that TP takes place after OoT, but before TWW. After that, or possibly before that, it's murky and inferences have to be drawn from the clues in the games.
Interesting, but it's kind of weird compared to the story and stuff.. "But the hero did not appear..."
I thought it was after WW again...
TP may not be the back story to TWW. Perhaps the Hylians forgot a legend.

yep, the hero havent appear... THE HERO OF TIME!!! maybe TP Link havent stop the evil guy
Then the game would be a failure. They have to let Link win or the game would stop selling quickly.
Yeah, really. What's the point (note: this is just hypothetical) of getting a game if you're gonna fail?
That would ruin the game. Nintendo's so called best idea would be a failure.
maybe Link wont win, but he will not lose as well... if TP ends with the great rain, the bad guy will be (dead) for at least 200 years
I wouldn't say "dead," but in a sort of hibernation state. Hey, that may explain why he's so fat in WW; he had to eat a lot to make up for the lack of calories provided by sleep, but he over-ate. ;D
i didnt now that in the sacred realm you can find a fast food ;D
Hey, neither did I! :D
i wanted to sey: MaCDo....... but i dont want to make commercial ;D
HERE"S what happens:
Long ago there existed a kingdom where a golden power lay hidden. One day, a man of great evil found this power and took it for himself, and with it at his command, he spread darkness across the kingdom. But then... just as all hope had died, a young boy clothed in green appeared as if from nowhere. Wielding a blade that repelled evil, he sealed the dark one away and gave the land light. This boy who travelled through time to save the land, was known as the Hero of Time. The boy's tale was passed down through generations until it became a legend.
*Here we have TP and Link kills Ganon everyone is happy for a while*
And then a day came when a fell of wind began to blow across the kingdom, and the great evil once again crept from the depths of the earth. The people believed that the Hero of Time would again come to save them. But the hero did not appear...
It's a good theory :D
aham... TP Link isnt the Hero of Time
I don't think he meant it like that. It says that the boy's tale passsed down through generations and become legend and it's THEN he said that TP may take place. And I agree with him.
Just look at how Ganon returns before the Flood. The legend doesn't mention the seal of the Sages. It's also possible that TP is the Imprisonning War and ALttP leads up to the Flood. By that I mean that Ganon is killed in ALttP and then maybe resurrected before the Flood several generations later.
or maybe WW is the last of ganon :)
Maybe TWW doesnt mention TP link because most of it went on in the Twilight realm and the people of Hyrule just diidnt know...

Actually, I think Zelda I and II shows the end of Ganon.
For now, that is. It's still unknown if there will be a Zelda game that will take place after LoZ and AoL.
Funny, I have a timeline theory that puts LoZ and AoL before all the other games. My main inspiration for thinking up that theory is how so many fans makes stupid excuses for why OoT is the first (at least with Ganon), like how it's the 'first' time Ganon attacks, the King would not have trusted anyone with Ganon in their name if he had attacked before, the game mentions the creation, etc.
1. Not stated. Besides Twinrova is his surrogate mother, which means that they most likely created him or resurrected him through childbirth. I lean more towards the latter.
2. That's like distrusting anyone called Adolf. Ganon is not a god. They usually have names that's excusive to them. Mortals, however, doesn't have a system like that. Ganondorf might be a normal boy name amongst the Gerudos.
3. So does ALttP. Not a very good argument.
