In Oot When you bomb the little goron as adult Link, right after you bomb him Link (not the goron) shouts ''Hear my name and tremble you servant of Ganondorf, I am Link, Hero of the Gorons.'' It's a miricle
He he. Awesome. ;D
That was the Goron speaking. He was named after Link. The Goron thought he was Ganon's servant. He also said that he was hero of the Gorons. Link is Hero of Time. This topic is now useless.
I'm sure it was a joke. And the topic isn't necessarily useless. We can talk about Link speaking in other games. When you are given a choice to respond to a question another person has asked, isn't that the same as Link speaking?
Oh... My brain itches...! ???
Well, it would be pretty cool if he did speak.
But, actually, I count the choices that you make when you talk to somebody (e.g. Yes, No, I hate Ganondorf!) as speaking. Anyone agree with me?
NOTE: I didn't realize that Hi no Seijin asked the same thing. Sorry!
You have no choice but to answer them.
True, you have to answer them, but I think it counts as speaking on Link's part. But I want Link to have more lines. Maybe if he spoke more, people wouldn't think he's so stupid, as some of you out there seem to think he is. You know who you are. I'm watching you. >:(
;D
Who? I'd like to know... oh, you mean Ganon, don't you?
Possibly. The Ganon here on TDC, or the Ganon from the games? Of course, TDC Ganon will say he is the Ganon from the games, so yeah. Him. And Ezlo. And I thought you were cool, Ezlo! How can you think Link is stupid! Curse you!
then how come the goron said ''Your name is Link too'' a goron can't know that unless he's phycic, >.> <.< probley not
Link never speaks in terms of having it said on the screen. The directers just don't want him to have a voice.
Still, I think that was him talking
Quotethen how come the goron said ''Your name is Link too'' a goron can't know that unless he's phycic, >.> <.< probley not
It's because Link tells him his name, though we don't see it. Besides, Link isn't that arrogant.
However, he does speak in AoL, in Saria Town.
QuoteI found a mirror under the table
:P
He speaks OMG so this isn't a useless topic
It is awesome. It's not everyday that you hear Link speak without making a speaking decision.
Or reading a story.
Whocares, what can you say now huh
Nothing, cause I don't care.
I think Link speaking in writing on the screen would be cool. But, if he had a voice you could actually hear would freak me out a bit.I think whatever he sounded like it wouldn't be what I thought he should sound like. ???
He would sound like me. ;D
Haha :D
Well I'm sure I wouldn't be disapointed then lol ;)
I just can't picture Link talking.
I can. If he doesn't talk, how is he going to be smooth with the girls? ;D
LOL just showing them the master sword should do the trick ;)
Actually, Jack the Ripper came to Hyrule recently. They might suspect Link if he did that. ;D
Ohhhhhh link the criminal mastermind :D
He's smarter than he looks. That's why he can talk. ;D
if he could talk doyou think he'd have a deep, bestly voice or a high voice?ormaybe in the middle....? ???
Somewhere in the middle, I suppose. I can't imagine Link having a deep voice or a higher pitched voice.
Well in the cartoons, his voiceis middle but a little on the high side, so i figure if they ever gave him aq voice it would be somewhwere around there.
Perhaps, but I have some information that you may love, guys!
It turns out that in the entire Zelda series, Link spoke only one line: in TWW, Link said "Come on!" I'm not sure where, but I got this information from Wikipedia. Anybody get me on this one?
It's true. He yells "Come On!" when calling to Statues/Medli/Makar.
He also speaks a lot in the CD-i games. Full dialogue.
Meh, those aren't considered as canon, though. However, thanks for the refresher! :)
I hate the CD-i gmes, thy're a disgrace to the zelda series.
He talked in the cartoon show, but as I understand that was a disgrace to the Zelda series also.
The cartoons were so bad, i wanted to gorge my eyes put when i watched them!
The triforceof courage didnt even exist in those cartoons!
Haha, as I said with tingle. If you don't like watching the cartoon, then just don't watch it instead of complaining about it.
I never really realized that the only time Link talked (aside from the CD-I games) was in TWW. I wonder if he'll say any lines in upcoming games like TP (I wouldn't count on it, though).
i heard he syas "hey"' sometimes in the game. that all i heard though
When he makes little noises in oot they sound like right in the middle.
I think his voice sounds on the deep side when hes older in OOT ;)
Jump from a high place and you'll get a gist of what Link sounds like as an adult in OoT.
Let me make this clear. He says, 'I found a mirror under the table,' in AoL. So stop claiming his only line is 'Come on'. :-*
QuoteI hate the CD-i gmes, thy're a disgrace to the zelda series.
Have you ever played them? Yes, they're bad, but I've heard the gameplay doesn't live up to the cartoon sequences in crappyness, and those cartoon sequences are only two times in the games. At the start and at the end.
They weren't even made by Nintendo, they were produced due to a laswuit.
Hey, im pretty bad at any kind of "puzzles", so what does AoL stand for, i know its not america online...
Im not totally sure, but does it stand for Adventures of Link?
Yes, it does.
Now, Evilslayer, thanks for clearing that up. It looks like I have some editing to do on Wikipedia... ;)
Haha, new it!
Well anyway, havent you realized that Tatl has taken every chance Link gets to talk for herself...
Yes, thats why i wanted to repeatedly strangle tatl and navi
Haha, yea totally, we seriously need like anti fairy demolition charges madgiggers...
Do what you will with Navi, but leave Tatl alone. She has attitude, and that's why I like her better than Navi.
Navi's constant "HEY" "LISTEN" "WATCH OUT" made me wanna rip my ears off. And i happen to love Tatl, it's just that sometimes she got on my nerves.
If we're speaking about faeries, Spryte is better than either of them. :-*
QuoteIm not totally sure, but does it stand for Adventures of Link?
Adventure of Link. Link goes on ONE adventure, not many. ;)
