his mom dropped him on the head when he was born (making him stupid). later when he was 5 years old he was r@ped by a giant fairy (possibly a kokiri). that is why tingle has an obsession with fairys. :P

I know the story.... it is a bold one... a sad one..
There was once two planets... One called hycan... and one called denrule.... On hycan, there was a man... he was the most annoying being ever... He was shunned from every village he tried to settle in because he was so anoying...
There was a woman on Denrule... She was so evil, she was said to be the anti christ... every town she moved into, everyone quickly left... About this time, a giant planet crossed between these two worlds... Both planets were sucked into the planets enormouse orbit... the two planets eventually colided, but instead of smashing eachother, the cobined.... They also decided to combinr the two names, Hycan, and Denrule, to create, Hyrule....
A couple years passed, when a very annoying man, met a very evil woman... He taught the woman, that the most powerful evil is annoyance.. and she taught him, that the most annoying thing to do is be evil all the time... They fell in love... and had a child... they named him.. ~Tingle~ The townsfolk had no Idea what was in store for them... The mother and father got in a fight... and they killed eachother.. She was so evil, that she stabbed him... He was so annoying, that he made her kill herself out of aggrivation... Tingle was left alone... He grew up raised by fairies... although they decided when he was 10, to completely erase his memory of them... But he somehow remembered a small bit.. Ever since then, he has been obsessed with Fairies. So much that he dresses likea fool. He inherited his moms evil, and his dads annoyance... This spawned the Anti-Christ... That is tingle........

It's not the right story. Tingle's dad is the guy in the swamp headquaters in MM, so it is wrong.

In Majora's Mask, there is a swamp. In the small hut at the entrance of the swamp, is a fat man. He said he's Tingle's farther. So the story is wrong. Geeze, people need to pay more attention to the games.

And you're talking about the Tingle in Termina. Zelda Veteran was talking about the Tingle in Hyrule. Big difference there.
Some of us take the Disney route. We "rearrange" some of the facts to make a better story. Of course, we still stay close to the facts, whereas Disney botches everything. ___________ (fill in with favorite profane expression to describe Disney).
