A joke is occasionally thrown in in CSI. You just have to think about it. In one episode, Grissom was running a race when he found a dead guy who was also in the race. He said that he knew he wouldn't be in last place. ;D
Also, CSI appeals more to me than the Simpsons does. It's just a matter of opinion.

Well Adult Swim is a block that starts at 10:30 p.m. on weekdays, and 10:00 p.m on Sunday. It shows TV14 shows like Family Guy, Futurama, and some you've never heard of like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Harvey Birdman.
I like some of the episodes of family guy. But some of them don't make scence. Futureroma I've never scene before.

On another matter, I watch G4 only for Star Trek: The Next Generation and some Cheat! episodes.
I heard of G4. Not really, but my grandparents on my mom's side gets it (at least down in the basement). When I'm up there, I'll watch that one show where the review video games late at night. He he, they had a drunk Link on there once. ;D

G4 has gone WAY downhill since the beginning. It's supposed to be Video game Television, but have dumped all their shows besides X-Play and Cheat for more adult shows, like The Man Show, and Street Fury. For shame G4.

That's not anime. Anime is Japanese animation. Where the guys look like girls and everybody has some freakish trait to them. They also have really big eyes and bad lip syncing from the translations. Some examples are Pokemon, Dragonball Z, and some others.
Pokemon was okay until it turned stupid for me. Now I laugh at Ash. ;D

I LOVE anime I watch it only for the actual cartoons not the plot or anything.
When I went to Florida I was addicted to this programme called Sailor Moon purely because i adored the style. :D
Well, if you recall, Japanese speak faster than us. So when they translate anime to the English language, the mouth movements are still drawn to the way the Japanese speak, so when they talk in casual English, they are still moving their mouths really fast.
Even so, some of the anime is better than the cartoons America comes out with. And I don't even watch anime.

The only shows on tv i try to watch are The Colbert Report or any interesting specials on the Discovery Channel or w/e. I dont watch too much tv. Maybe around 10 hours of it a week.

lol, Fresh Prince is old school. I used to watch it a lot growing up. South Park too. Its really immature but totally hilarious.

As for me, here're my faves. The Simpsons, Futurama, Ghost in the Shell (anime), South park, Lost, and maybe Grey's anatomy, I really don't watch tv that often, except for the above.

Today i watched the episode where they have a Halloween party and they all dress up I LOVE that episode.
I also watched the one where they watch the tape to see who came onto who, the night Rachel and Ross slept together, hilarious!
Is what I mean is I didn't like some of the episodes, Ok, the first shows that need to go, are those stupid little toddler(spelled wrong) shows, who shows that at 6 in the morning?
mmm... totally, I wake up at like 6:40 and there is nothing for me to watch (4 channels, natch) its just the news or kids shows...
My question is, why do they show them so early, when half of the little kids arn't even up yet?

I once loved TV. I remember the days when I had a hard time deciding what I'd prefer to see. Nowadays, I don't watch TV that much. Off course, I still watch comedies, Discovery, crimies and a few other things, but my main love: cartoons, have almost all gone bad. So I don't watch that much anymore.

Nonsense. It's a matter of taste. Some of us don't like the crude humor behind many of the new cartoon shows coming out.

The thing is you are saying, how cartoons have gone down hill recently, but the thing is that was when you were younger. And those cartoons you did watch were aimed at younger audiences. Thats why it seems like the cartoons are rubbish now. Because you are older and those cartoons dont have the same appeal.
There are still good ones aimed at older audiences though.

My problem is the lack of originality and the wrong message that gets send into the world. All cartoons nowadays seem to be about high school, spies or are the worst kind of (promotional) anime out there. Or a cheap "wannabe remake" of an old show. And they all are the same. I also dislike a show like Pucca because if you like that show, you are either someone with a twisted mind or a sexist. That show is so wrong. Yet I know parents won't mind their children watching it. Parents are fooled with cute graphics, while the messages broadcasted are terrible.
About two years ago, I started to search for info about these old shows. I cried when I found retrojunk.com and other sites dedicated to preserving the memories. I still could sing along most intro songs. ^^ I'm aware that some shows, like the Super Mario Bros show, would nowadays not make it to my fav list. But tell me, are there still shows out there with the quality of Teddy Ruxpin, Samurai Pizza Cats, Doctor Snuggles, Transformers, Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Alfred J. Quack, David the Gnome etc? Yes, but only a very very very few. The quantity quality is gone. And I hate it. Especially because someone has that tapes and could bring them back on tv.......DVDs are good, but I think the current generation will not be aware of the jewels out there unless they have older brothers or sisters.

I see what you mean, but take something you watched when you were 5 I doubt you would still be interested, thats all I am saying.
Of course some cartoons are timeless, and for all ages but some just aren't.
I personally dont like them at all.
Me and my brother like altering cartoons (we had to watch them with our cousin).

It was Hilarious.
But no, when i am ill, I watch baby cartoons, they make me cheer up. Except one where a dog got trapped in a bus :'(

Anyone here watch whose line is it anyway?
I really do not have much of a scheduled TV viewing as my schedule is so hectic. But I try to watch Simpsons, South Park, anytime a football game or baseball game (as long as its not two craptastic teams playing) is on, and anything on the History Channel. If I am not too tired I will throw on Adult Swim and watch it until the Anime comes on. I also like to watch reruns of NYPD Blue and Law and Order.
