In my personal opinion, they are focusing way too much on the family. Yes, it's where the money's at, but that doesn't mean that they have to stop making games for the older kids. I know that my ranting won't magically change their productions.
I'd never jump ship on Nintendo, they may be failing the home console wars, but I feel they succeed WAAAAY better than anyone EVER could with the portable console. The 3DS just needs some time, sure, it'll get bogged down with crap, but it WILL have some good stuff.
Also, I'm never going to Microsoft, they're failing so hard against the PS3 it isn't even funny.
Valve even made the PS3 version of Portal 2 the best (Between XBox and PS3 anyway)
Xbox has some cheap mii rip off thing and that's about it going for it's online. The PS3 does everything XBox live can, but free... So I see no reason why I should settle for the inferior Xbox, and have to pay for it. I can play blu-ray on my PS3, play games with much more superior graphics...
And don't say anything about the stolen information, it coulda happened to the XBox too.
But this is about Nintendo.
I'm not about to jump ship on them, I think they still have potential, it's just...
Well, Sturgeons law is... Definitely in effect here.

The last thing Nintendo released that I truly loved was Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. That's it. I haven't thoroughly enjoyed anything from Nintendo since Radiant Dawn, and that's a crying shame. Super Mario Galaxy 2 was pretty cool- better than its predecessor, Super Mario Galaxy, and yet I enjoyed Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door a LOT more than either of those titles. Not a single game out of Nintendo since the release of the Wind Waker has surpassed the Wind Waker in my humble opinion. Nothing has even come close to touching it (again in my opinion).
I'm right there with ya, pal. Nintendo needs to earn my allegiance back, or I won't be purchasing their new system. If I don't see some seriously "I need them" games for the new system, I'm simply not buying, not even for Zelda (unless I hear good things about it). Truth is, XBox and EVEN PS3 is blowing the Wii out of the water when it comes to enjoyable video games. Sure the Wii sold better than the both of them, but that's only because it turned its back on the people that made them what they are today. I've got a growing grudge against Nintendo, and if it isn't quelled, I'm going to turn into a Nintendo opposer.
. . .
. . .
Might even turn an application into Microsoft. >:(

Im not a religious person. I dont believe that religion decides weather or not a spirit stays or goes.
You mean be exorcism? If so, you clearly haven't seen A Haunting.Quote from: Kevin on July 11, 2009, 09:36:39 PMQuote from: Takun on July 11, 2009, 09:21:48 PM
Actually...poltergeists are not ghosts...poltergeists are caused by people un-knowingly giving off large ammounts of phychic energy in a single moment. Thus causing something to move. Usually caused by teens during puberty or while they are going through a lot of stress.
That's a debatable theory :\
More like a breach in the definition of poltergeist:Quote from: dictionary.compoltergeist: n
a ghost or spirit supposed to manifest its presence by noises, knockings, etc.Quote from: AliCal on July 12, 2009, 09:53:21 AM
No offense but I don't think that is true. I'm not saying it's fact that ghosts don't exist I'm just saying "fact" is much too strong a term for it. There is no concrete evidence either way.
So...anectodal evidence doesn't count?

That's actually the sign of a good writer, or so I think, getting your readers (or watchers in this case) to react in such a way to what you write. I didn't cry, but I was sad when I watched the Fullmetal Alchemist episode where Hughes died, and it really tugged at my heart to see Elicia's reactions to her father's death at his funeral.
Heh, should probably put FMA Spoilers up there in the title as well.

I thought there were 39 episodes?
37 and two movies.
I cried so hard when L died it wasn't even funny. Light's death was less tragic, but it still evoked emotion from me.
Well that's perfectly fine as Light's death was like the death of an insane tyrant and L's death was foreshadowed and unjust. I can't believe I didn't catch this until now, but right before L dies he washes Light's feet, similar to the way Jesus washed Judas' feet...
