Yeah, even though Command isn't out, I put it there. For me it was a close race between Command and Assault, which I thought was good despite IGN. Command looks cooler though!

It got to gimmicky with the gamecube releases.  Star Fox 64 was the last one to stay true to what Star Fox is.

Star fox is my second favorite series. My favorite so far is definately adventures. It made me feel like i was playing a zelda game, and its the only one that has ever done that. Why? Because it made my brain tick, and i loved all the races and tribes. I also loved the thing where the muscular raptor pushes on one side, and you have to push on the other side with fox by pressing A rapidy. It was hard but fun, and i loved the staff combat system. It was truley a remarkable game.

Your list is missing one of the hardest to find Starfoxes... Starfox 2! yes indeed, the rumors are true, it is in fact, possible to play Starfox 2 which never got released.

There is a complete version of the game out there, yes, for the SNES! It looks very cool too. PM me if you wanna know where you can get it. ;)

I'd say Assault is my favorite, I thought the game was a lot more expansive than the others. But going on the harder routes in the original Starfox is quite surprising when you play them. Those are really fun and quite original. Even more so than '64.
