How do you know which posts come from what computer?

You see, there is a special thing on every computer called an IP adress. Whenever you hear of somebody being IP baned it means that their computer has been banned from the site, and they can never visit again.

There are ways though some people can violate that, one way or another. What I have usually seen with those people then is the IP is contacted and told of the offenses and usually their IP will drop them.

IP bans can be "overridden" by using a different computer though, I think.
