Hello everyone. I'm new around these parts, and I'm just trying to get some of my stuff out there. I have a certain way of looking at things, and because of that, the stuff I draw is effected by it. I like to think of myself as a Critical Thinker, and because of that, I put a lot of research and thought out details to my concept drawings. Here are a few, and if you have ANY questions please ask. Everything in my pictures are meant to be there. Hopefully we can get into some good discussion and you can see some art you otherwise would never have seen. So lets get started!

To start off, I'll show my three currently finished pictures:

-Goron Concept-
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/goron.jpg
I've always been a huge fan of the Gorons, and in my opinion, they are the most fun to draw. Things to notice in this picture is primarily the texture of his skin, which is very rocky and sandy, thickened to take the beatings that living on death moutian, an active volcano, your bound to encounter. Also, the hands are feet are changed from the orginal design. The fingers are designed to act as large shovels, to better help mine and dig deep into the tunnels of the mountian. The feet are much more troll like, and seemed more fitting for a mountianous people.

-Link Concept-
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/Link-1.jpg
This Link isn't really from any particular game, but mostly just my own design were i ever to make my own game. The leather armour and cloak make this design unique. The sword he holds is intentional shorter, as long/broad swords and shields are not a happy couple on the battle field.

-Ganondorf, Prince of thieves-
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/Untitled-1.jpg
My favorite and most diffucult piece so far. This is my concept of Ganondorf in the years before the events of OoT. Here, is is depicted as a desert theif, as he was before his climb to greatness during the wars of hyrule and his claim of the Triforce of Power. A good detail to this sketch is the waterskin at his belt. In the desert, water is gold, and no matter how strong you are, without it you wont last long.

Tell me what you think, and also I would love to hear some request!

Baka Nezumi

These are cool! I particularly liked the Link concept design. I'd like to see one of a Zora.

So what media did you use to make these?

Hmm... we could go with something creative and say... the SHIEKAH! Ahem... We never actually see what would be considered a standard shiekah (Shiek doesn't count). Hmm... It would probably be a difficult concept to work out though.

Invision instead of blue, purple, or some form of shade that gives mode to shadow... grey + purple maybe?

Baka Nezumi

That sounds cool. I never really considered what a normal SHeikah looked like.

Actually, a long, long time ago, I did a small sketch of shiek that put a new spin on the whole look of the shiekah. Now the shiekah, known as the shadow folk, are a great mystery. So in this version of shiek, I decided to drape her in cloth. Also, she has that faded out look, which i kind of took by playing off the ninja vanish move in SSBM. Shiekia have a special kind of magic, whether it be stealth or disquise or whatever, and I wanted to show that.

When I get some time, I'll try doing another version of shiek, then just your generic shiekia if people want that. I'll also start on a Zora.

Hi no Seijin

I have seen these somewhere else before, but I can't remember.  Anywho, good job.  Keep up the great work.

If memory serrves me well, aren't gorons supposed to fold into rocks, camouflaging into their environment? So shouldn't the Goron's still have a not-so-straight back in order to allow blending in the terrain?

Don't forget Goron rolling action.

Whiteley79

Well, I guess since you cant see the back in this picture, you could assume it was straight. But its not, at least not in my mind when I was drawining it.

Pale Dim

Those are some...Pretty intense looking drawings. Nice job! I'm impressed!
