Yeah, it's been proven more addicting than heroin...anyways, yes it can ruin your life if you don't moderate it, there are plenty of stories about that. In fact, they are making a little gadget that will send out signals telling you to get off after playing for a while, so you do other more important things, like, say, go to the bathroom.
