Ikkicon 2008

Alright, so my dad and I went to Ikkicon. It was grand. We walked into the hotel, and I didn't have my mask on yet. My dad registered both of us and got our badges. I clipped it onto my overalls, then I put on the mask and walked to the Artist's Alley. Within 5 minutes of wearing the costume, someone walked up to me and said "omigod, it's Robbie!," hugged me, and took my picture. XD

I got a lot of hugs. And I gave a lot, too. Some people didn't even know who I was and wanted a hug because I was a 7 foot bloody pink bunny. XD I had a group of three stalkers who would say "Suicidal Bunny!" and hug me. I hugged the entire Organization XIII, about three Haruharu Harukos, KANTI, Link, Ryuichi in his bunny outfit and about 100 more people.

There were some amazing costumes... like Rem from DeathNote and Kanti from FLCL... Oh, and one of the Blue team from Red vs. Blue. I wish I got a picture of him.... (I hugged him, he was clanky)

I got into a fight with Wolf Link. He was walking down the steps, so I pulled out my (2 inch long plastic toy) chainsaw and threatened him. XD He clawed at me, barked, and we stared fighting, but I was backing up, looking as scared as a 7 foot, smiling bloody rabbit with a chainsaw could be. He bit my arm, chewed on it, and I gave the "truce" sign.

Then people were taking pictures of him and I slowly walked up behind, revving up my chainsaw. I think the expression on the girl's face as she was taking the picture was awesome. People shouted "Look out, Wolf Link!" and then he turned and saw me. XD Then we started fighting again, except we actually made contact. XD Then he tackled me, except we actually fell down onto the grass... then we both laughed, got up and wiped our costumes off. People were cheering and Wolf Link howled in victory... then I put my head down, sadly, and pretended to cry.

Then, later, I saw him in the Artist's Alley and I went for the throat with my chainsaw. He stopped, and acted sad, so I hugged him, and he hugged back. The things I do for hugs... 9__9

Well, my computer has decided the internet will NOT work today. I can't see what I'm typing, so I'll just cover the Cosplay show in my next post (this post is long enough XD) and I'll let these pictures entertain you while I restart my computer.

And I wonder if it was Caboose you hugged, the one from Red vs. Blue... He's awesome. And hilarious. :P :P :P

A lot of the skits were good... I'm glad I didn't enter a skit, I would've lost much more horrifically. XD

There was a Pheonix Wright/Trauma Center skit, too. (this is the good audio version. The one it's a response too has good video, but horrible audio.)
