With the upcoming release of Tomb Raider Underworld (November). I thought it would be fitting to create a topic!

I am a huge Lara fan and have been since I was about 5 or 6 and am really looking forward to Underworld. The new "What  Could  Lara  Do?" concept sounds amazing and the locations you visit look gorgeous, and that octopus? AMAZING. The teaser video of Croft manor has me tres excited as well.

The wikipedia page explains it all better than I ever could. Here

So any other Tomb Raider fans here?

Tomb Raider was the first playstation game I ever owned. I loved it to death. And then it was also the first PG-13 movie that I ever saw. I havnt played many of the new games. But Im a huge fan, so you'll have to tell me more about the game.

Yay!
Well it's based around the Norse Legends, mainly on the God Thor and the existence of his hammer that has the power to break mountains. The game clears up plot elements from Legend but details are still sketchy. It's very much concentrating on bringing the Tomb Raider series into the realm of "next-gen" so graphics are much improved, and Lara should be able to do virtually anything a person in that situation could do. It is less linear than legend and combat is vastly improved.

Hopefully it'll live up to the hype.
The first Tomb Raider was probably my first videogame (that and Doom) although it was my dads not mine. I was terrified of it, I'd only ever play Croft Manor.

As you know, AliCal, I'm a big fan of Tomb Raider. Granted, I've only played the first game, but it's one of my very favorite games of all time. Out of all of the Saturn games I've got, Tomb Raider is definitely the one I've put the most time into. Time well spent, truly. It's such an amazing and enjoyable game... Just the right amount of puzzles and action, huge environments, and although there's a lack of music most of the time, the silence helps to provide a tense atmosphere which draws you into the game. And when music does show up, it's very well-done and perfectly fits the mood of the game. I also like how the game uses every button on the Saturn controller. Each button has its own purpose, and while it's a bit confusing to get the hang of at first, it becomes second-nature pretty quickly.

I love Tomb Raider.

Fun fact: Tomb Raider is one of the very first video games I remember seeing, if not the first. I remember my cousin playing it on her PlayStation.
What, you expect me to say something witty?
