LOL CONTINUITY PROBLEM

Is incest big in Hyrule?  There is a bunch of this, "descendant of the hero of time" business in the games.  There is also the whole romantic connection between Link and Zelda.  I think it's safe to say that Link doesn't end up with Zelda because otherwise, if Link always ends up with the princess, then eventually both 9th-gen Link and 9th-gen Zelda would end up with twelve fingers and a waterhead.

You're right; they'd be pretty messed up.  So what does that mean, that all the Zelda's are related but the Links aren't?

It's possible that it could all just be dumb luck. Yeah, highly unlikely...but of course, this is Zelda we're talking about. All the Links could be related--not necessarily by blood, but maybe by some other means?

Srsly though, it's a video game :/ Anything (except for maybe inconceivable stuff) is possible.
