I was thinking that once I get a job, I would start saving up for a DS Lite to replace my original DS (which has L and R buttons that have been rather finicky lately), but now I'm thinking I'll save up and wait for this DSi.

Which begs the question:

If it's being released in a month, why didn't they reveal it at e3?  That would have put them withing fighting distance of Micro$oft and Sony.

As for your question, Gamefreak, it's a good one. Miyamoto did say that E3 was no longer for the Nintendo hardcore gamer...but that would only mean that either they were too lazy to announce it or that it's not a "casual" device.

I'll make a bet they were going to wait a while to announce it, but then saw our reaction to E3 and decided to release it early. They usually don't even go to the event they revealed it at.

Within the last year I purchased Metroid Prime 1 and 2 along with Chibi-Robo and, just like Mags, a  DS lite. ???

I'am doubt I'll end up buying the DSi. I don't usually buy those kinds of things until they drop $100 or so.
Honestly there are only two things that Iam looking foward to for now.
1! Wrath of the Lich King. (The latest World of Warcraft Expansion)
2! A new Zelda game. I've been dying to get some Zelda back into my system.

That makes me slightly more happy that I just got a DS.

I doubt I'll get one, the only thing good about it is the slightly larger screen.
I wouldn't use the mp3 player and the camera looks pretty poor.
I've still got my DS back from when it first came out. I'll only get one of these if mine breaks.
