ok so if u remember hyrule is landlocked in ocarina. and when link falls down the hole to get to termina he also goes through some tunnel. so maybe termina is on the other side of some mountains that are a border between hyrule/termina.

when hyrule gets flooded maybe its just hyrule cause hyrule is landlocked like i mentioned.

and if u bring up the whole termina is a parellel world thing dont bring up the people look the same.... cause nintendo wanted to get the game out quick and used those models for the people.

Okay two contradicting things. I'm really fond of Termina being another country near Hyrule. But also the alternate dimension explains... Tingle... :-[ Maybe Link wasn't supposed to go to other Dimension and Tingle is Link's alternate form. So Tingle was morphed. But I support your theory more than mine.

Nope, Termina is an alternate dimension, case closed.

That is already canonical.  Thanks for trying.

...

Just no. Tingle isn't Link's alternate form.

Hi no Seijin

Link is too boring for Tingle to be his alternate form.

How is this evidenced again?  The instruction manual?  Official announcement?  I can't recall.

Both, I believe.  Official announcement for sure, the manual is a possibility that I'm unsure of as of yet.

I'm gonna use that quote again, you know the one from the official site. Yes Tacheon, the official site.

Termina

When Hyrule was created by the three goddesses at the beginning of time, there were certain side effects of its creation which Din, Nayru and Farore did not anticipate. As the three holy women breathed life into the world and chased away Emptiness, their potent breath slipped through tiny cracks in the folds of space and created millions of alternate worlds in the process. One of these worlds became the land known as Termina.

It is possible that we would know nothing of Termina's existence if Link had not been led there by the mischevious actions of Skull Kid. Termina is very similar to Hyrule, but at the same time extremely different.

Is that the official site, or Zelda.com, which is actually The Exploding Deku Nut-- another Zelda fansite?

DW

With the power of Google and link-clicking, I traced it back to Zelda.com

Yes, it is.

Tacheon and some others however, argued in a different topic that it wasn't, which I think is completely absurd to assume.
