The nominees for Best Picture are above, vote for what you think should win. Also, Best Director nominees are Avatar, The Hurt Locker, Inglorious Basterds, Precious, and Up in the Air.

As of right now, the real competition is Avatar, The Hurt Locker, and Up in the Air.

I have The Hurt Locker very high on my to-see list for 2009 right now, behind only The Whiter Ribbon (not on DVD yet) and Moon (I don't know if it is yet), and I'll get around to District 9, Precious, and Up eventually.
