Man Shot Dead in Miami

Yesterday, in Miami FL, a man was shot and killed for chewing off another man's face. Through the many articles and pieces of news videos my friends and I have searched through, we've found the full story.

A road-ranger passing by found a naked man eating and tearing away at another man's face. When ordered to back away, the guy just kept eating his face. The police were phoned, and when the police showed up, they ordered the man to back away. They used a megaphone, which caught the man's attention. The man reportedly stood up slowly with pieces of flesh hanging from his teeth, and growled at the police. He then started eating again, and they shot him. He continued eating. They shot him again. No effect. They shot him a third and fourth time. He continued eating. They fired two more rounds, this time aiming to kill. Finally, the guy slumped to the ground.

Police then released that tests showed no drugs in the man's system whatsoever. However RECENT reports state that they made a mistake, and that the guy was tripping on LSD.

Whatever the case, we did more research and found that there have been 5 other cases of this exact thing, all in Miami Florida. Holy Romero that's a lot! So, we decided to check on the autopsies of the killed men (who ALL apparently took several shots to bring down). They found now drugs in their systems, and it's a mystery to the police why this is happening all of a sudden. 2012 is starting to add up.

All kidding aside, this is still terrifying. Whether you believe in zombies or not, people are becoming "rabid dog"s, and feral animals, and eating other people. They shrug bullet wounds off like they're nothing until they're shot in the head, and they growl at their attackers. How come (with LSD) there's never been a case of this before? But in the last 2 months, there have been 5!? Something pretty freaky is happening. One of the reports I read said that they blocked an entire highway section off with squad-cars and road-flares, direction traffic around it, because it was one of the most gruesome scenes they'd ever seen. Which brings me to my next story:

Last night was my friend's last day visiting us before he had to go back to the Navy, and so we took him downtown. We had our fun downtown at the riverwalk, but when we decided to come home, we found a similar situation. Half of the SAPD was ALL OVER the bridge, and the highway was blocked off with road-flares. They directed us around it, and I checked CNN and our local news stations to see if there was an accident. Nothing. So now I wonder- is it here already? The Zombie Apocalypse? I hope not. I'm just not prepared yet O_O

I thought we'd have more time... To quote my very skeptical logic-based friend, "...so 2012, huh?"

That's messed up. How did you find out about the other five cases? I can't find anything with the Google news search.

Last night I had guests staying at my house, and they were sleeping on a blow-up mattress in the computer room. So when my friend went home, he searched all of it, and gave us the details. I don't know what his search terms were, sorry.

You should ask him. Should prove interesting, and hey, maybe the search index will move up by the time you report back to us.

One thing I should mention, though, is all because this has happened a multitude of times in the past couple months without another such case being documented earlier doesn't mean that this is some necessarily-new thing. It's very possible that it's just that: a case that has since remained undocumented for whatever reason.
