Name- Dagon

Race- Goron

Abilities- He has the strength of a two gorons, do to a ritual done only a pawn fated gorons , but has left him with a humanoid like body.

Weaknesses- He is terrified of rolling into a ball. (due to his form, not normal gorons have), and cant swim.

Appearance- Seems to have a humanoid body, but has goron looks ( similar to Link in Majora's Mask, when he has the Goron Mask on ).

Family- Father and mother killed sometime after Dagon's birth. Has one brother, Sarba. Deemed Prince of Gorons after 10 years into his life.

Story/Background-
Dagon was born sometime near the start of the Great Flood, near the island where Link and Aryll are raised. He quickly began training, because he was the prince of the Goron's at that time. But as time past, the Goron's realized that he could not fight very well due to his terrible lack of strength. At last, village Elder decided that he was the one who would receive the Ritual of Strength.The Ritual of Strength is a ceremony in which one goron sacrifices his life (preferably an Elder) to give his strength to another, through a channeling session.But since Dagon's strength was so low the community decided that not only the Elder would give ]his life, but his brother, Sarba,would also. The ritual was completed without a hitch, but there was one problem. Dagon's body had been transformed and twisted to that of an upright humanoid.The village was stumped, and as was Dagon, but the amount of strength he had obtained was worth his weird stance. Dagon was trained throughout his life, but he was still as strong as the was the night the ritual had commenced. His life would last long youthful, for Dagon's life span was that of 3 spirits. On the anniversary night of the Ritual of Strength, so many years ago, he had a vision. A vision of water filling their great mountains and valley's. This terrified him, and caused a great stirring of feelings in his mind. Out of fear for his people, he asked that four goron's of each gender, to get to the highest peek they knew while he prepared a large boat.Soon enough the Great Flood begun and Hyrule was buried beneath the waves. Luckily, Dagon's boat was finished just in time to save his people. He sailed the boat to the peak of Death Mountain , Death island, and loaded the survivors unto his boat, and sailed them to the nearest inhabitable island and there. Then, after a fairly great population had accumulated, news of New Hyrule arrived. Dagon decided it best for him to sail to Hyrule first, to make sure that there would be a place for his people in this new land.
Even though he was still only a youth by his lifespan, Dagon felt it the best thing to do.
This is when Dagon's real quest begin

You should join Hyrule Adventures. I think you have a good start for a story, though it could use a little more detail. I would talk about his family, and some stuff that happened to him. I love the ritual that left him with a humanoid body, pure genious. I love it!

There is a conveniently placed "Edit" button in the top right corner of your posts. It'll help you not to double and/or triple post.

Now, about the character. The bonuses versus weaknesses equal each other out very well, but the history is lacking. As Master Goron said, it could use more detail about things like his family, and important events in his life. Sometimes when I write a history of a character, I flashback and write as if it's the present. That allows for dialogue between the characters, strengthening the reader's impression of both.

The ritual in particular I think could be elaborated on. Talk about how it is performed, what things are used.

Other than that, it looks very nice.

and someone has already complained about double posting to me so no worries..

I have just started this character(last nite in fact),and i have not really come up with how he arrives on hyrule or how he survived the great flood,but i have an idea for his childhood life and family... o and as 4 teh hyrule adventure thing,tried it wasnt 4 me..

yea. if the goron were completely wiped out, then what race would the traveling merchents be in WW? great character!

Hello,

I have hugely updated my character's story and stats.
His name is now Dagon, instead of Kaiburr. He is still the same character from before, but with a few story aspects added.
I have under gone major names changes constantly which may lead some to believe this is a new character.

I am doing this in hopes that my character will be noticed a new generation of posters.

great thinkning though
i liked the YOU KANT ROLL INTO A BALL THING
but just a question
instead of changing more erect and human like
shouldnt he have turned MORE goron like?
oh well

I never said he can't, just that he is afraid to

well if i made him more goron-like, that would take away some of the story aspects.

okay seriously cut out that choppy thing it's driving me nuts.

and his character should be more like whatever he wants it to be, it's good to have a unique one, so it doesn't become flat.
