The next morning, the ugly moon was still in the sky. Link looked over the Lon Lon Ranch fence, and noticed people gathering to see it. Link went back to the stable, but stopped short. Link... A voice said from behind the stable, Zelda walked around the side.She looked at the moon. The stories you told me about the magical land of Terminia... They were true weren't they? Link looked away. Zelda walked up next to him. And the moon... No doubt the same as in the stories. And Skull Kid... Link looked at her. She spoke once more. And another thing. The master sword. It's different. What did you do to it? Zelda quizzed. Why are you taking a survey? Link said harshly. Zelda gasped, and looked away. Link saw a sad look in her eyes. Zelda! Wait! I didn't mean to- She raised a hand to silence him. No, its okay Link. I know you are under a lot of stress. Epona trotted up next to link, and Zelda. Link mounted up Epona. Link, where are you going? Link looked serious. To stop that moon. He sped off. Good luck Link! She shouted after him. Link Rushed to Hyrule Castle, and climbed to the top of the castle. He got up on the roof of prayer, and pulled out his Ocarina, and played a familiar tune. Cries were heard from the North, East, South, and West. The horrified people of Hyrule screamed as the four red beasts entered the beautiful land. Some people were screaming horrible things at the beasts. The gathered, and put their hands on the ugly menacing moon. They began to suck the dark magic out of it. The People below began to cheer.

                                             Meanwhile...

Look what they are doing to my creation! Skull Kid screamed. Contain yourself. Ganondorf ordered from his throne. Skull Kid turned to Ganondorf, and spoke. Do you know what I just realized? It's that stupid ocarina that saves him all the time! We need to do something about it! Ganondorf sneered. Where is the fun in that? He has his weapons. We have ours. Don't worry about it Skull Kid. Vaati looked out of the window, and said, He is standing on the roof above us. I say we take him out right here. Ganondorf shifted his attention to Vaati. Try it. Ganondorf ordered. Vaati smiled. Very well. He busted out the window and stood before Link. Link looked at him, and smiled. Where is the rest of your posse? Link teased. I don't need them to destroy you. Vaati said confidently. Then come with it! Link shouted. Vaati looked annoyed. He threw his cape back, and lifted a finger to Link. A purple beam of energy shot out of his finger! Link hit it with his sword, and it shot back at Vaati. Vaati's eyes grew wide, as he teleported away from the beam. That was a little too close for comfort. Perhaps I have underestimated him? No. He is still an insect beneath my feet. Vaati thought as he shot more beams from all five fingers on both hands. Link began to charge a great spin attack. The beams approached closer. Just a little more... Link urged. The beams were nearly upon him. There! Link shouted. Three rotations of spinning, and all the beams were headed back in Vaati's direction. Persistent little pest, Vaati muttered as he floated high up out of links reach. Lets see you beat me now you fool. Link smiled. Have you ever heard the saying, brains over brawns? He said, as he took out his ocarina. Well Brains, and brawns beat an idiot every time! He played the song of storms, as rain began to pour from the sky. Vaati looked around him. Haa! Do you really think rain bothers me? Now taste what I can really do! He began to lift his hands, when a big bold of heavy lightning came down upon the overconfident Vaati. He screeched in pain, and fell from the sky. His body was toasted, but he was still alive, but barely. Link walked up to him. Now do you see? Link laughed, as he climbed back down the castle, mounted up Epona, and started back to Lon Lon Ranch. Ganondorf sat in his chair, and frowned. Agnihm. Retrieve him. Yes sir, hissed Agnihm, as he disappeared out the open window. Agnihm returned almost in an instant, with Vaati's body. He laid his body on the floor, and took a step back. Ganondorf stood up. Skull Kid had just realized how tall and powerful Ganondorf was. He quavered as Ganondorf spoke. This is what will happen when we work alone. To bring down the hero of time, we must work as a team to get the job done. Ganondorf raised his hand over Vaati. Vaati's scars and burns vanished, as Vaati opened his eyes. Vaati stood up and looked around. Wha- NO! HE BEAT ME?!?! Vaati looked back to the window. Don't even think about it Vaati. We must work as a team, Ganondorf ordered. Vaati advanced toward the window. Stop. Ganondorf said once more. Vaati began to fly out the broken window. I SAID STOP!! Ganondorf screamed, as he reached a hand toward Vaati. Vaati froze in mid-air. I-I cannot move? What is the m-matter with my body? Ganondorf slowly began to close his hand. Vaati cringed in pain. If I close my hand completely, you will implode. The pressure of my magic will be too great for your puny body to handle. Ganondorf sneered. Are you going to listen to me now? He said as he lightened his grip. Vaati's eyes narrowed. How much power does he possess? Vaati thought furiously. Ganondorf released his magical grip, and lifted a hand. I would be happy to answer your question Vaati. Vaati's eyes grew large. He-He read my MIND?? Ganondorf raised his hand, as the triforce of power glowed bright. This time all of them gasped. Y-YOU! Skull Kid stammered. You were able to get the golden power?!? Agnihm shifted uncomfortably. How? Vaati had a blank expression on his face. The room grew silent. Now they knew the extent of his power. And they all knew exactly how they would get rid of the hero of time...
