Slightly off topic, but I used Link for the name of the hero in Suikoden.

I usually use my name if if has 7 letter slots but the 2-d ones usually only have six so I use Tez, it was a nickname a 3 year old gave me.

I alway put Link for every single game, but I also do the the name of the main villain in whatever game it is, like Skullkid in MM, Ganon in OoT, Vaati in MC...etc. you get the picture.

Hmm, interesting Vaati.  However, I feel the need to point out that Skull Kid wasn't the main villian in MM; it was Majora's Mask.  Majora was using Skull Kid as a puppet.  Skull Kid isn't even evil; he's just a prankster.

on my emulators i just put in a bumch of letters. on my real games i use my real name or a made up one.
i did call my character loser just so i could see what would be different.
