I gots my Naruto from amazon. Stupid old English bookshops don't sell it. I might buy some more soon, because my school has the ones I already have and they give them back in 2 weeks on speech day ::)

I was talking about pokemon as in japanese-original-to-american-monster change. Pokemon anime is based on the game, and the manga is pretty much the same. Yes, Brock and Misty team up with him. Yes, Team Rocket is pretty much the same.

But, I do feel the need to defend the first two seasons of pokemon. While it off course is not such a great anime *ahum*, it did a lot of things right in the first couple of episodes and was capable of being interesting the second season because of the complete change of concept, usually only seen in games. Jessie and James were quite cool the first two episodes they appeared in. Actually, it's impossible to imagine them being the same persons they were in the rest of the show. Then there was Ho-oh before he even was "invented" by the pokemon-team. That was a magical moment. I could go on some more, but I'll pass. Pokemon did have flaws those first two seasons, but overall, it was worth it. After that, I really do not recommend watching anymore. It's not worth it. And the fourth generation pokemon only has a few well-designed pokemon. The rest is like a 4-year old's two seconds master piece.
