When I was reading a post here way back when, I read a topic saying that there was a secret area in the part after you beat the Lakebed dungeon.  Can anyone tell me if they remember something like this, or if I'm going loony.  I really want to know.

"Secret area" is quite an ambiguous name. It could refer to a lot of things.

However, I'm guessing that it's somewhere in Lanayru's spring. To get there, though, I think you'll need the Double Clawshots.

Just above the door (the one you use to enter the cave, not the one at the other end), there's one of those things you can use the DC on. From there, it should be easy.
