The Water Temple isn't that bad. The Ice Palace, Turtle Rock, most dungeons in OoA, Great Bay Temple, Stone Tower Temple, Lakebed Temple and, most of all, City in the Sky are much worse. In the Water Temple you change the water level in a certain order. Try Jabu Jabu's Belly in OoA, where there's no such thing.

Of all Zelda dungeons (they are called dungeons; only a minority are temples) the City in the Sky is the only one that I've done that I would truly call a nightmare. Well, that and Level 6 in the first game. :-*

EDIT: If you disclude OoA, which have some nightmarish dungeons.

City in the Sky was only hard to me in the way that I kept getting blown off the edge. Yeah, that... sucked.

And the boss killed me because fire and Zora Armour... don't mix. I had issues in Arbiter's grounds, actually...

City in the Sky was easy for me. Doesn't wearing the Zora armor and getting fried by Aragarok do like 10 hearts?

Yay, I've found a way to make the game more challenging! :D Only... I'm never fried by Argarok.V_V Hmm... is it possible to get to the third dungeon before the second if you cross the Bridge of Eldin before heading for the Goron Mines? If it's possible I may used the Zora Armour in the Goron Mines.

I'm pretty sure it's not. I tried it once, and I'm not exactly sure what happened, but it certainly didn't work.

I don't think it is....then again, it is possible. You did have the option to do the temples in a different order in OoT...

The game mechanics of OoT made it difficult to the dungeons in any random order of your choosing. Normally, you wouldn't be able to skip the forest, fire, and water temples, but by using glitches extensively, you could do exactly that.

However, such things were not meant to happen. The best example of nonlinearity in a Zelda game that I can think of is the original Legend of Zelda. You really could do them in different orders, and WITHOUT glitches... of course, you'd need to go into a certain dungeon to get the item of transportation on a couple of occasions, but that's pretty much it.

Actually, I was mostly referring to the Shadow and Spirit temples. I think you could also do the water temple before the fire, though I can't remember how...

I did the fire temple before I did the forest temple the second time around... owo; I'm not sure if you can get the goron tunic before the forest temple, though. (I went through with the Kokiri tunic. I didn't die of heat except in the match with Volvagia, but I had a faerie.)

And then I did the Spirit before Shadow, and I did Jabu-Jabu before Dodongo's cavern. (I grabbed the bombs and left. So technically, I did go through Dodongo cavern.)

Also, it makes sense to go to the water temple before fire; you don't need the Goron Tunic or Megaton hammer, you can just get some blue fire and unfreeze the King Zora and get your free tunic (or unfreeze the shop and buy one for 500 rupees, but seriously, who wants to do that?) and then go get the iron boots. :3 Or get boots then tunic. Either way works.

I love the water temples! They make you think a lot; it's just annoying when you overlook something and have to search through the temple step by step. Yeah, it gets old after a while, but I love being able to make the game longer!  :D

Death War

Water temples are cool .I would like bigger temples and more temples and much much harder temples than the water temples

Oh yeah, what happens is, you need bomb arrows/bombs in general to bomb open a wall. ^w^; And you can only get those AFTER the Goron Mines...
