Summary:The countries of Hyrule,Melamoria,Tyronas, and Termina are engaged in a savage, bloody war that had lasted only for two months, yet has left Kakariko Village and East Clock Town in burning ruins,at least forty-five hundred Tyronites and thirty-thousand Zoras starving, mortally wounded, homeless or all three, the Gorons are left homeless when Melamorians placed bombs in the heart of their city and the bombs explode in a few minutes, and the war claimed about two million lives.

Hyrule Castle Town and Drapemos, the Capital City of the Melamorians, has been fortified with an outer moat and stone-and-brick walls about ninety feet high, while the Tyronites, altough they had suffered the worst casualties and only their Capital City-the port city of Gyramon-and a few other towns are NOT in smouldering ruins and are still populated to some degree, they are still confident of victory,as their heavily-armored,titanic army is still colossal, and their navy of longships, fire ships and Triremes with cannons has just been slightly weakened by the Hylian Royal Navy. The only reason why ninety out of the one-hundered and twenty-five towns and villages of Tyronas are deserted and totally ruined was because the soldiers in them had to be called to defend Gyramon.

This is Chapter 1,staged near the peak of the war.

Chap.1-The Battle Of Fortress Triamos:

King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule the IV is nervously pacing in his Royal Throne Room.He had to decide where to strike--either the heavily fortified and well-defended North Clock Town or the equally well-defended and ramparted Tyronite Fortress of Triamos, which holds about 500,000 armed and well-trained Tyronite Berserkers and Footmen.

After ten minutes,he had made his decision."Send six-hundred thousand soldiers and forty-five hundred cavalrymen,as well as thirty Galleys,to Eastern Tyronas. We're attacking Fortress Triamos at dawn, and General Demaris will head the assault."Daphnes said decisively to a Royal Messenger. The young man nodded, and scurried off.

By May 19th,the Galleys and Transport Ships carrying soldiers, horses, food, water and weapons had departed into the water, and headed for Tyronas,Demaris's ship in the lead.Larger ships carrying Battering Rams, siege towers on wheels, and catapults were bringing up the rear.Demaris sighed,"This may be my final departure to the seas.Triamos is on a large rampart surrounded by a ditch of crocodiles, and the fortress itself is guarded by huge and very thick stone walls, as well as tall Watch Towers. There are many men there in the fortress, and I highly doubt a head-on attack will work.".

Two days later,a Tyronite Spy spotted the incoming Hylians, and after General Staghash,ten-star commander-in-chief of the Fortress recieved the report, the walls of Triamos were built higher and thicker, two more gates are built right behind the outer gate, and a second ditch is dug, filled up and crocodiles are thrown into it.

After spending an hour hacking down vines and stepping over stumps, the Hylian Forces saw Fortress Triamos.Suddenly,Demaris shouted,"Raise your shields, men!"as he heaved his Tower Shield above his head and horse. The troops did the same just as Staghash shouted from inside the Fortress,"Open fire!",and a rain of arrows greeted them.Slowly, the troops built narrow and rickety wickerwork-and-wood bridges over the two ditches, and by an hour,Demaris yelled,"What're you waiting for, men?CHARGE!".The Battering Rams, altough these took a long time to push up the ramparts, began smashing the gates, while grappling hooks, scaling ladders and Siege Towers were used to place wooden slides into the Fortress, and the soldiers slid down these "slides".

Eventually,a huge battle started in Triamos. After two relentless days, two bloody nights, the remaining few Tyronites fled from the Fortress, which was left ablaze and in smouldering ruins. The three-hundred Hylians who were lucky enough to stay alive began torching the Bastion and looting coins, gold, silver, jewels, food, water and weapons from the dead bodies.

Altough the Hylians lost an eighth of its Royal Army, the conquest of Triamos proved decisive, for it was only two miles away from Gyramon, and on horseback a decent rider could reach that destination in four days. The Battle Of Gyramon sounds quite inevitable now...
