The possibiity of sustained relationships through transdimensional displacement

Blah blah blah, long story short, Tacheon has a theory.

So, I'm playing through OoT again, and I've gotten (thus far in only 4+ hours I might mention) Kojiro... like, that's literally where I paused the game and got to work.  So, there's no denying that the cucco lady is the same sprite used for Anju.  Also, in OoT, she states that Grog (the cucco guy and, in OoT, the Foreman's Son) is her brother.  That would imply that the Foreman is her father as well, because let's face it, video games don't go that deep into marital law or anything like that.

Now, there are a lot of relationships that have crossed over from Link's conscious mind to unconscious mind (read, Hyrule to Termina), such as the relationship between Link and the 'farmgirl' of the story (lol zomg romance), the brotherhood of Sharp and Flat, and the fat Zora being in charge as some obvious examples.  So I'm raising the possibility that Anju's father (Tortus?) is the Foreman-- in Majora's Mask.  Think about it.  His unwillingness to flee town could be because he liked Kafei and believed that he would hold true to his word, or that he simply respected his daughter's wishes and commitment to stay in the Town, even as the moon fell.

Post your thoughts or some evidence here as examples.

Also, note some other connections with this.  The Foreman is still a jerk, Grog still loves Cuccos, and Anju is still timid no matter which of the games you look at.  It just kind of all clicked for me.

Ummmmmmmm..................what?  :-X I couldn't take that all in at once.

I'm quite sure Tortus is dead during MM. Think it might've been a diary entry or verb tense or something. Plus, why would Anju's grandmother confuse Link with Tortus anyhow...unless they looked a lot alike. Or if she's just gone nuts due to age. :P I'm not too sure that the Foreman looks a lot like Link.

Granny's blind.  Also, the Potion Hag (Granny) is Grog's grandmother in OoT, implying that she's also Anju's grandmother in OoT, and therefore the Foreman's mother in OoT.  If that relationship is sustained in MM, then that would mean that the Foreman is Tortus.

So the Potion Hag is the Foreman's father!? Who would've thought it!? :o (Yeah, you might want to fix that. XD )

Sounds like a good claim, however. You might want to check and see if it says that Tortus did not die. If it turns out he didn't, then hey, solid discovery!

Is this whole "Termina is all in Link's subconscious" something a lot of people believe?

Keaton

If by a lot of people, you mean just me and the people I've managed to convince thus far, then yes.

Isn't it funny how the two intertwine?  Have you read ANY of my topics AT ALL?

Yes, I'm completely obsessed with MM.  If ANYTHING has the possibility to relate back to it, I'll go there.
