The block is only an illusion!

A few minutes ago, I was playing WW, and my sister told me to have Medli stand where you push a block off a ledge in the Earth temple. I did, pushed the block, and Medli was inside the block! I was about to call Medli out, (my sister had done this in her game. Medli ran out of the block. :o)  but my sister told me to do the Command Melody. I did, and zoomed in. The block wasn't there. What madness is this!?

All four sides of the block are a barrier, so you can't go INTO the block unless you do what you just did or something similar. It's the same thing with islands; go to the Wind Island above Windfall, and sidle along the edge. You can peep over at one point, and you can see THROUGH the island. Same basic principle.

In short: 3-D in a 3-D game isn't that 3-D.

Its just a glitch.
In a 3D game, the walls of an object are solid, but there is nothing inside the object. Any GS owner knows that if you enter a cheat to walk through a wall, once your through there is nothing.

Ah, such is the wonder of 3-D game design. It's best to think of objects like walls and blocks, or just about any inanimate object in 3-D games like hollow shells, because that's all they really are. If you can't physically go through one of these shells without the aid of a cheat device or through some sort of small bug, that's usually all you really need in a game. Actually filling in one of these shells would be pretty impractical and time-consuming.

Okay, I'm done now.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Also, objects are only connected by load times. In clock town, if you walk out the door to termina field, your in termina field. If you try to moon bounce over the wall, you'll relize clock town is floating in the middle of the sky. You can actually see the sun and a lit sky floating below clocktown at night and stars and moon below it during the day. The sky scene just rotates from day to sunset to night to dawn around the envirment.

Pale Dim

Whenever you enter a building, area, room, or whatever, and the screen goes dark after you open the door, you are actually going through a warp zone. Each and every exit, entrance, etc has a warp zone set to a specific area through the warp zone's code. And, most of the time, you go through that exit, doorway, etc that you just came out of, you will be warped to the area where you were before. So you don't go inside buildings, you just warp to a different area, technically speaking. Really high tech, isn't it?

Yeah, glitches like that happen. One time, in the Wind Temple, I was carrying Makar, and I was standing near a wall and I set him down. Makar went right through the wall and ended up back in the little prison cell.
